We launched The Whisky Drop by Maker’s Mark® in 2021, meaning it’s already been two full years of sharing some of our most special bottles – 18 of them, to be exact. That’s included seven Limited Releases, five Wood Finishing Series expressions, four DNA Project bottles, one CommUNITY Batch blend and a rare holiday label bottle. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, we’d say that’s a pretty solid haul. We are even more excited about all we’ll be able to deliver in the future. So, stick around, and maybe sip a round.

2023 LIMITED RELEASE:

If you know a little about Maker’s Mark® – and we’d bet you do since you got this drop – you’ll know about things like how we use red winter wheat and hand-rotate our barrels. But another part that’s just as important and isn’t mentioned as much is our 110 barrel entry proof. The lower proof is essential to achieving Bill, Sr.’s taste profile. This bottle is a tribute to that part in the process and will give you an amplification of all the good things it brings.

AROMA: Toasty vanilla, subtle spice, caramel

TASTE: Bright, vanilla, brown sugar

CASK STRENGTH Maker’s Mark 46 ® is undeniably delicious as is. But with something that good, a cask strength version is almost

inevitable. If you’ve never had the chance to try it, this bottle gives you everything loved about Maker’s Mark 46 ®, but with amplified notes of almond, fig and chocolate. Or a simpler description – it’s a whole lot of good.

While certification is great validation of what we’ve been doing, it wasn’t the final goal. We’re committed to the quality ingredients in our bourbon and simply quality bourbon. But more important, we’re committed to being a continued force for good in nature and all we touch. We think that’s a nice added bonus to think about while sipping your new bottles.
