Cellar Aged 2024 follows last year’s blockbuster debut. It’s made from a select blend of now 13- and 12-year-old Maker’s Mark . ® After their bourbon reaches maturity in our traditional warehouses, barrels are moved to our limestone cellar where we push the boundaries of “aging to taste, not time.”
Cask Strength represents the fullest version of our classic flavor profile. The caramel, vanilla and fruity notes you know and love are expressed in their full glory. There's nothing watered down about this surprisingly smooth sipper, which comes in at a range of 108–114.

Our first-of-its-kind
LIMESTONE CELLAR
In 2016, we built into a limestone hillside on Star Hill Farm to devise a new way of aging bourbons. Maker’s Mark 46 , ® Maker’s Mark® Private Selection and, of course, the namesake Cellar Aged come to maturity in this LEED-certified, temperature-controlled space that’s ideal for finishing whisky.
Thanks to consistent 50-degree temps, the limestone cellar slows down time in a sense, as well as those tannins that can cause sharpness during maturation. During its time here, Cellar Aged develops deeper, darker depths of complex flavor.
