Whether your event is an intimate affair of 10 with your closest family and friends or 150 of your favorite people, you and your guests will experience a true taste of Southern Hospitality from our entire team.
Typically, ceremonies take place on Harper’s Gallery Terrace. This rooftop-level outdoor space, strung with café lights, overlooks the City of Savannah. Adjoining this modern and romantic terrace is Harper’s Gallery Ballroom. With a private balcony facing the Savannah River and floor to ceiling windows, you can host a buffet or plated dinner for you and your guests. For a traditional seated dinner plus a dance floor, this space can accommodate up to 65 people.
For larger events, you can look into adding on our picturesque rooftop bar, The Lost Square, for a fun and interactive wedding experience on our full rooftop.
The Alida also boasts an in-house restaurant with private dining options, a poolside event space, and a cocktail bar – plenty of options for all your wedding event needs!

Venue room rental fees are dependent on the day of the week and month of your event. Every wedding rental includes round or rectangular tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, glassware, plating, and an expert team of banquet staff for event service.
Peak season months include March - May and September - December. Events on major holidays will incur an additional charge.
In addition to the room rental fee, you will have a required Food & Beverage Minimum spend based on the style of service for your event and your contracted guest count. Food & Beverage Minimums are quoted per individual event.

A complimentary menu tasting for up to four (4) can be arranged after the event is confirmed, scheduled at least 45 days in advance and based on Chef’s availability (not available on Saturday or Sunday).
Our private event offerings are designed as pre-selected, set menus; please follow the guidelines: Maximum of two (2) entrée selections and one (1) vegetarian option. The highest per person price of the three entrées will be charged; a common starch and vegetable will be available for all meals. The client is responsible for producing and providing the hotel with individual place cards with entrée choice noted. A spreadsheet of the breakdown is required and both items are required a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the event.
Please note our Chef will make seasonal substitutions without notice to ensure the freshest in season experience. As most of our food is prepared à la minute to provide the highest quality product, adherence to scheduled mealtimes is imperative. Uncommunicated delays in function start times may necessitate the preparation of food and will result in additional fees. Delays in start times of more than an hour will result in additional labor charges.
If buffets are expected to be out longer than 2 hours, there is a $10.00 per person, per hour charge to accommodate.
All Food & Beverage must be provided by the Alida Hotel. Any exceptions to this (including, but not limited to, wedding cakes, specialty desserts, specialty homecooked items/recipes, kosher meals, and other religiously guided restrictions) must be approved by the Catering Sales Manager or Event Manager.
All events will commence upon the contracted time. The maximum event length is six (6) hours. Noise ordinances set by the City of Savannah will be followed; events with amplified music must end by midnight (12 AM).
All events that include a wedding ceremony and/or reception are required to have a coordinator in attendance on the Event date for the entire duration of the Event. The coordinator must be from the Hotel’s Preferred Vendor List. If the coordinator is not from the list, they must be approved by the Hotel. The Alida Hotel does not offer a full-planning, month-of planning, or day-of planning coordinator. The Hotel provided Event Manager will only manage the venue details, venue set-up details, and menu details.
All details, final menu selections, and final head count are due fourteen (14) days prior to the event. Adjustment to head count within fourteen (14) days is subject to full charge.
The Alida Hotel is not responsible for the setup of décor of any kind. Decorations cannot be taped, tacked, or nailed to any wall or fixture. Confetti, glitter, and rice are not allowed. Any real candles must sit in a dish or container to collect wax. All decorations will need to be broken down at the conclusion of the event. Please contact the Event Manager to determine if what you are bringing is allowed. Failure to comply with any of these regulations will result in a fine based on the assessed damage.
Your event is considered definite upon receipt of the signed catering contract and deposit. The initial deposit is 25% of the total master account revenue (food and beverage minimum, rental fee, tax, and service charge). The estimated event balance and head count is due fourteen (14) business days prior to your event date. Payments may be made via credit card, check, or wire transfer.
Alida Hotel offers valet parking for your guests’ convenience. We extend a special event parking rate of $16 per car for the duration of your guest’s time on property.
All prices are subject to a 26% Service Charge, 7% Sales Tax and 3% Liquor Tax.
