Bethwel Yegon wins Expo 2020 Dubai 10KM Fun Run, Mayio comes in 3rd Hundreds of runners in Dubai, United Arab Emirates run alongside top Kenyan Olympic athletes at Expo 2020 Dubai at the first-ever Expo Run. The Expo Run was held on Friday, November 19, 2021, around the Expo grounds. Participants were able to choose from 3 distances; 3 km, 5km and 10km. Fittingly, the race began at the Kenyan Pavilion at 7 a.m. The race took runners past Country Pavilions, the Expo Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity Districts, and the Al-Wasl Dome at the centre of the Expo site.
