Kenya hosts Transport and Logistics & Housing Business Forums at Expo Dubai Transport and Logistics Business Forum-10th November 2021 The Kenya Transport and Logistics Business Forum was held on 10th November 2021 at DEC 2A South Hall at Expo Dubai from 11.00 to 12.45 a.m. The Head of delegation was Mr. James Macharia, EGH, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development and Public Development. The forum brought together participants from both public and private institutions. The Business forum generated 5 solid leads of companies ready to invest in the transport and Infrastructure sector. CS James Macharia assured investors in Dubai that there was a lot of investment opportunities in Kenya. Housing Business Forum -11th November 2021 The Housing Business forum was held on 11th November 2021 at DEC 2A South Hall at Expo Dubai from 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The Head of delegation was Housing and Urban Development PS Charles Hinga. The business forum brought together participants from both public and private institutions, a total number of 58. The forum showcased investment opportunities in Housing and Urban Development in Kenya. Additionally, the forum highlighted the business environment, support structures within the housing sector for company set up as well as financing models within the housing sector. The forum generated 4 solid leads of companies ready to invest in the housing sector.

Up coming Events at Expo Dubai 1. The Expo Run: 19th November 2021 The Expo Run will be held on 19th November 2021 around the Expo grounds. The run will start from the Kenya Pavilion. Participants will be able to choose from 3 distances; 3 km, 5km and 10km. Kenya has been given an opportunity to co brand this run.

2. Dubai Run- Run with the champions: 26th November 2021 The 2021 Dubai Run edition is scheduled to take place on 26th November 2021. Participants will be able to choose from 3 distances: 3 km, 5km and 10km. The crown prince of Dubai has confirmed participation in the run.
