Hon. Mutahi Kagwe visits the Kenyan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai The Kenyan Pavilion was honoured to receive a visit from the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Health Hon. Mutahi Kagwe on 8th November 2021.

Hon. Mutahi Kagwe was impressed by the Kenya Pavilion and its key offerings to the World Expo. He noted that Kenya will be showcasing its opportunities in the health sector during the Health and Wellness Week at Expo 2020 Dubai scheduled to take place in Feb 2022.

CS Mutahi Kagwe intimated that Kenya is building the largest mental health facility in Africa.

“Kenya has invested in medical personnel and equipment the world is welcome to come for treatment in Kenya.

5th November 2021 H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation visited the Kenyan Pavilion on 5th November 2021. The Kenya Consular General to Dubai Ambassador Peter Mwendwa and the Kenya-UAE Ambassador Kariuki Mugwe were also present to receive the Emirati Foreign Affairs Minister.

6th November 2021 Mr. Roman Pietruszka from the Polish pavilion was hosted at the Kenya Pavilion to discuss bilateral business engagements between Poland and Kenya. The deliberations were centred on partnership and collaboration for the upcoming Polish Business Day slated for 9th November 2021 at the Polish Pavilion and the Kenya Investment Forums on Infrastructure, Logistics and Housing scheduled for 10th and 11th November 2021.

Kenya’s request to have a delegation attend the Polish Business Day was accepted including creating a slot in the program for the Director General at Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat to address the Polish Business delegation and share more on about Kenya’s Business Landscape.

As a way of reciprocating the friendly gesture from the Polish people, Kenya similarly invited the Polish delegation comprising 6 businessmen to attend Kenya’s investment forums so that they appreciate the investment opportunities in Kenya.

The Polish delegation comprises representatives of companies in the Renewable Energy, Waste Management, ICT and Confectionery Sectors.

It was also agreed that Kenya will share it’s programming so that more polish companies can be encouraged to visit the Expo and attend Kenya’s organised business forums.

The visiting Polish delegation will pay a courtesy call to the Kenya Pavilion on 8th Nov so that they can be taken through the numerous opportunities being showcased in the pavilion in the area of Trade, Investment and Tourism.
