Expo 2020 off to a quick start in Dubai

Expo 2020 Dubai has welcomed a total of 411,768 ticketed visits in its first ten days since the start of the world event on October 1st, 2021. Visitors belonged to 175 nationalities with one in three visitors having come from abroad.

The first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South- Asia Region has attracted participation from 192 countries, each with their own pavilion.

The Kenya Pavilion is led by the Commissioner General and CEO of the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency Dr. Wilfred Marube. Dr. Marube noted that “Expo 2020 Dubai is an exceptional event that has provided Kenyans with an opportunity to grow the economy and do business with the world. We will leverage on this Expo to position Kenya as a home of quality of authentic products and services, while deepening our trade relations with our hosts and the participating nations.” Feel the Energy
