Shana, 11 brain tumor

Eleven-year-old Shana is an expressive and inspiring young girl with an eye for design. During her routine hospital visits while she battles a brain tumor, Shana focuses on utilizing her creativity and talent to create and sketch characters.

Shana’s one true wish is to be an entrepreneur and have her own greeting card business.

Her vision is to create cards with a mental health focus; cards that uplift and help people who are struggling. Shana’s work features encouraging messages that build others up, inspire, and "share love”.

Shana is currently fine tuning her artistic skills by working with local watercolorist, Lauren Ellzey. This card is one of Shana’s first published pieces. She is hard at work designing the perfect illustrations to match her seven greeting card phrases.

Shana is also learning how to use design and editing software, so she will be able to digitize her art. We are honored to share Shana’s beautiful expression of her wish with you.
