MESSAGE FROM THE
DEAN Greetings from Tulane,
Before the summer passes us by and the busy application season sets in, I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Undergraduate Admission at Tulane University. My role is to identify talented high school students who I believe could be an excellent fit for the community of students on our campus. While you’re out of school this summer, I encourage you to start asking yourself important questions about what you want in a university. What size school feels right for you? What are the students like at the various colleges you plan to apply to? What do you want to study? Over the summer, we encourage you to seek out answers to these types of college questions. At Tulane, we have many ways to do just that. One way is to come visit us this summer. We will be hosting small group tours for prospective students like yourself. I highly encourage you to visit. If you can’t make it, explore our VirTUal Visiting platform, which was recently named the best in the South by College Confidential. We have virtual events from Tips to Applying to Selective Universities to Admission Myths Busted, and even an Among Us stream. All of these events will give you a better idea of life at Tulane. I wish you the best of luck as you begin the college application process, and look forward to reviewing your application this fall. Roll Wave, Satyajit Dattagupta Vice President of Enrollment Management & Dean of Admission

MONDAY AND FRIDAY AT 9 AM, 11 AM, AND 2 PM; TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY AT 9 AM AND 2 PM; AND MOST SATURDAYS AT 9 AM AND 11 AM.

FEELS LIKE NO OTHER With its one-of-a-kind location, Tulane provides world-class academics against a backdrop of one of America’s most unique cities. There is simply no Tulane without New Orleans. Our students take advantage of their new hometown through out-of-the-classroom courses that explore the city with classmates, such as Changemakers in NOLA Education, Engineering in New Orleans, or Music and Culture of New Orleans (just a few of our TIDES, or first year experience classes). Tulane further develops our students’ relationship with New Orleans by encouraging research and service throughout South Louisiana. We understand the importance of our location and we provide templates that allow students to easily explore the history, culture, and environment of NOLA through academic study. Every graduate leaves with strong ties to the people and place that helped shape their academic career.

You’ll have the chance to do a tour of campus, listen to helpful info sessions, and catch a panel of current students talking about their experiences as Tulanians. Plus, ask any questions you might have about the application process!
