Attend a top tier research university in a city unlike anywhere else in the world: New Orleans. Tucked in the tropics under shady oak trees, Tulane’s historic campus is home to leading research in the Gulf South. Unlike other universities, underclassmen — even in your first year — have the opportunity to conduct research under our world class faculty... or start your own projects. Tulane students win grants from national agencies, NASA competitions, and so much more. Plus... it doesn’t hurt to be surrounded by some of the best music and food in the country while you’re at it.
