during your time at Tulane. In addition to on-campus events, you will venture off-campus for a “Beyond the Bubble” excursion and get to know New Orleans better. An abbreviated Hullabaloo Hello repeats in the spring for Spring Scholars and Transfer students. Dates forthcoming.

WAVE WEEKEND

SCAN FOR MORE INFO

Wave Weekend combines Homecoming, Reunions, and Family Weekend into one. Students and families have the opportunity to hear from campus partners at open houses and receptions, attend a concert, take in a Tulane football game, and connect with alumni! The full schedule and registration will be released late summer. Tickets for the football game have typically gone on sale in summer; students will be able to claim a free ticket in the fall.

RESIDENTIAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES

Residential Learning Communities (RLCs) are designated spaces in a residence hall where first-year students live together to learn about and participate in activities centered around a theme. Students in each RLC will also take an associated Tulane Interdisciplinary Experience Seminar (TIDES) course. Those interested in an RLC must fill out a supplemental application, which can be found in your housing portal. Any questions can be directed to learningcommunities@tulane.edu.

ADVISING & COURSE REGISTRATION

MORE ABOUT ADVISING

Newcomb-Tulane College advising is here to support you as you navigate your academic journey. Advisors are available for one-on-one meetings to discuss academic and career interests and plans throughout your time at Tulane.

You will be pre-registered for up to two classes beginning May 1st. You will then meet with a Newcomb-Tulane College advisor virtually this summer to finalize your fall course schedule. A similar process will occur for the Spring semester in November.
