Over time era after era, the evolution of man to the present consisted of civilizations and cultures of different peoples, and through travelling, wars and differences of opinion, there was friction and the exchange of cultures in humans, leading to an increase of science.

The passage of time and the multiplicity of cultures, science increased. Science is the main reason behind the evolution of consciousness within every human being.

The style of life of every human being depends on the culture and civilization, an increase of science to a remarkable development in the present era.

At the present time, many traveling to visit many countries to come to know these are the history of civilizations and to know its past. human visit tourism countries to take advantage of joint between the state and the human, in terms of benefit the state in terms of the economy and therefore led to increase tourism to the economy and increase the attention of the tourist areas of countries to develop these areas for the conservation of historic value and to increase the state’s economy.

dventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome.

Adventures may be activities with some potential for physical danger such as exploring, skydiving, mountain climbing, river rafting or participating in extreme sports. Also Living an adventure means living a wild and unusual experience, which may be risky with uncertain consequences. The extreme sports is a subcategory of the Adventure Sports, may also called ‘Action Sport’ and ‘Adventurous Sport’ An extreme sport is defined to be any sport that represents speed, height, or a significant level of physical effort. Extreme sports may get in a particular way to be an individual rather than team sports, it also may include competitive and non-competitive activities. adventure is an exciting or unusual experience, it may be activity with some potential for physical danger , It is also broadly refers to any enterprise that is potentially fraught with physical, financial or psychological risk.

Main statement: Adventure it has an unknown results, often having a connotation of danger and excitement.

What is the Adventure?

It is an exciting or unusual experience. But getting out from something to be special maybe or try to do something dangerous, this type of adventure may let you die .

What is the problem?

Human in now a days got something boring it a Routine.

People have in general daily activities, they need such alternatives to break the routine.

A new approach for a healthy lifestyle Such activities are interesting for people.

In your lifestyle you have routine style, it makes you feel bored.

What Is Boredom?

Boredom is a common feeling. Feeling unsatisfied by or uninterested in an activity causes it. Research suggests that boredom sometimes occurs when a person is feeling energetic but has nowhere to direct that energy Boredom also occurs when a person has difficulty focusing on a task.

In our Arab World, they afraid to do anything new, To do anything new or to get out from bored you need to get out from rigidity to do an Adventure.

Toursim: Tourism is travel for recreation, leisure, religious, family or business purposes, usually for a limited duration. Tourism is commonly associated with international travel, but may also refer to travel to another place within the same country.

The World Tourism Organization defines tourism as people “traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes”.

Tourism has become a popular global leisure activity. Tourism can be domestic or international, and international tourism has both incoming and outgoing implications on a country’s balance of payments.

Today, tourism is a major source of income for many countries, and affects the economy of both the source and host countries, in some cases being vital importance.

Jordan and Tourism: Tourism is one of the most important sectors in Jordan’s economy. In 2010, over 8 million tourists from various countries visited Jordan, with tourist receipts amounting to about 3.5 billion dollars. An additional $1 billion was earned through medical tourism to the kingdom. In 2011, Jordanian tourism lost $1 billion due to the political instability across the region.

Its major tourist attractions include visiting historical sites, like the worldwide famous Petra, the Jordan River, Mount Nebo, Madaba, numerous medieval mosques and churches, and unspoiled natural locations (as Wadi Rum and Jordan’s northern mountainous region in general), as well as observing cultural and religious sites and traditions.

Jordan also offers health tourism, which is focused in the Dead Sea area, education tourism, hiking, scuba diving in Aqaba coral reefs, pop-culture tourism and shopping tourism in Jordan’s cities. More than half of the approximate 4.8 Arab tourists in 2009, mainly from the GCC, said they plan to spend their holidays in Jordan.

-The south gate in the ancient city of Jerash -Petra in Wadi Musa, home of the Nabateans, is a complete city carved in a mountain.

-Umm Qais, a town on the site of the ruined Hellenistic–Roman city -Ajloun has a medieval Crusader castle -Al Karak contains an important castle from the times of Salah al-Din, known as Al-Karak Castle.

-Umm el-Jimal, the so-called “Black Gem of the Desert”, was once a town on the margins of the Decapolis.

-Montreal Crusader castle, less than an hour north of Petra.

-Qasr Amra, one of the best preserved Umayyad Islamic period monuments and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. v

Brief history of Adventure:

Adventure The old and prevalent stories among history are stories of adventures, such as Homer’s the Odyssey Mythology, which was discussed by in Joseph Campbell’s monomyth, or the hero’s journey, that is a basic pattern that its proponents argue is found in many narratives from around the world.

This widely distributed pattern was described by Campbell in The Hero with a Thousand Faces. It proposed that heroes stories from culture to culture followed that basic pattern, starting with the “call to adventure”, to end with victory.

The knight errant was the form the “adventure seeker” character took in the late Middle Ages.

The adventure novel exhibits these “protagonist on adventurous journey” characteristics as do many popular feature films, such as Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. the reason these stories was created to motivate people to generate courage in the hardship situations that sometimes overcomes you in life to never falter and to be strong.

André Malraux Adventurous experiences create psychological arousal, which can be interpreted as negative or positive , and which can be detrimental as stated by the Yerkes-Dodson law. For some people, adventure becomes a major pursuit in and of itself. According to adventurer André Malraux, in his La Condition Humaine (1933), “If a man is not ready to risk his life, where is his dignity”. Similarly, Helen Keller stated that “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

The Yerkes–Dodson law: is an empirical relationship between arousal and performance, originally developed by psychologists Robert M. Yerkes and John Dillingham Dodson in 1908. The law dictates that performance increases with physiological or mental arousal, but only up to a point. When levels of arousal become too high, performance decreases.

Types of Adventure:

Adventure

Gorge Walking / Scrambling: Travel by walking, scrambling and jumping, wearing suitable clothing and using specialist equipment.

Canoeing: Solo or double boats powered by the occupant using a single bladed paddle on lochs, canals or rivers.

Hiking, trekking or bushwalking: Basically a walking activity, but one where it is implied that the distance is considerable and the walk is probably in hilly or mountainous terrain.

This would also likely be performed in an area of some outstanding natural beauty.

Climbing / Abseil: Rock climbing involves a person climbing up natural rock formations or man-made walls, in most cases with safety ropes (though the more experienced climbers sometimes go without). Rock climbing is a test of strength, endurance, agility and balance and can vary greatly in difficulty according to the contours of the wall or rock face.

Camping: Staying out overnight in tents either in a camp site or in a remote setting.

Mountain biking: Simply off-road travelling on a bicycle designed for rough terrain and conditions. People take part in mountain biking competitively but usually it is done for fun and to take in the countryside. It has a bit more edge than hiking. Dirt bikes are monitored and driving on rough terrain, normally competitively.

Skiing / Snowboarding: Travelling down either snow slopes using skis or single snowboard.

Balloon: A hot air balloon consists of a large fabric balloon attached to a small vessel capable of carrying people and a powerful burner. The burner heats air vigorously, which enters the balloon to inflate it and ultimately lift it into the air, as hot air is less dense than cold.

Project name: ‘BS25 Silos Diving and Indoor Skydiving Center Proposal

Introduction: The proposal by Moko Architects for the Diving and Indoor Skydiving Center restores a part of a house factory in Żerań which operated in the past. Will be the only place in Poland where people wishing to learn the skills of diving will have the opportunity to safely train at the depth of 25m under control.

-Location: Warsaw, Poland -Architect: Moko Architects -Area: 2280.8 m2 -Construction date: Expected Completion in 2015

Site: -Topography: The area for the investment is located about 12 km away from the center of Warsaw. Main facilities include wholesale warehouses of construction materials and other products

-Urban context: Building in a non-developed area with abandoned halls and warehouses into a recreation center open all year round in the old silos where bulk cement used to be stored in the past.

This area is also becoming a popular place for amateurs of extreme sports, artists or people who like exploring abandoned buildings. The well located in one of the silos is connected to the “cave” of the other cylinder. This is an ideal place to train wreck diving.

The second silo will feature a technical area as well as an Indoor Skydiving Center. This place will make dreams about flying come true. In the “tube” where air will flow at high speeds, you will be able to safely train skydiving.

The Diving and Indoor Skydiving Center will feature.

The ŝerański channel flows through the entire area, which creates a unique municipal landscape. The collection of elements has a huge potential. The channel is a great water communication route between the City and the Zegrze Reservoir which provides the opportunity of doing water sports and staying active.

Level 5: House training rooms and changing rooms for skydivers as well as the entrance to the area where the practical training of indoor skydiving is conducted.

Project name: Four Faces: Collider Activity Center Competition Entry.

Introduction: Designed for the Collider Activity Center competition, Atelier WHY‘s ‘Four Faces’ proposal presents a diversity of images rather than one unified experience. With the building containing many different activities.

They focused on how to convey the variety of activities happening inside to those who are outside though the shape of the building.

Concept: The Center’s design includes two boxes-a glass box and a solid box inside it. While people are working out at the sports center, they will visually communicate with the outside of the building at the same time. This interactivity between inside and outside will create a lively space.

Zoning and circulation: -Circulation there is an exterior atrium and three interior atriums for entertainment: the high wall, the boulder hall, and funtopia. Each atrium is physically and functionally interrelated with the exterior facades. Four facades of building offer different interpretations of climbing aspects such as “gravity-free”, “flying planters”, “show room” and “hand printing”. Users will have an experience like visiting four buildings within a single building.

1.Gravity-free The main entrance atrium is the first face of the building that people see as they approach the Center. People enter the building through a convex glass facade, an exterior atrium, and a main entrance. The design of the north atrium represents the theme of “gravity-free�. Climbing means working against gravity. Three programs (fitness, coffee shop and spa) intersect with the volume of the main building.

These volumes float as if they were in a gravity-free atmosphere. At the front of the exterior atrium, the convex glass facade exaggerates this gravity-free condition, isolates the atrium from outside world, as well as visually pixelated and distorted the view of the atrium. This creates a surreal space at the atrium. People feel like they are entering a fantasy or dream world when they pass through.

2. Flying Planters The High Wall atrium is the most spacious area of the Collider Activity Center. People fights gravity in this space. Climbers try to go higher and escape far from the ground. The concept of the High Wall atrium is the romantic interpretation of escaping from the ground, and is called ‘Flying Planters’. In the front of High Wall atrium, planters hang from a structural cable. These planters are flying in the air, and diverse flowers and intertwined plants are growing toward the sky. This facade will create different moods according to planting and seasons. Inside of the atrium, people will feel convinced that they are in the forest. The planters are also varied in their size, color and shape. In addition, flying planters filter out direct sunlight like louvers. Its function will be maximized summer as the facade will be filled with luxuriant vegetation.

3. Show Window The South wall is dedicated to advertisements of Walltopia products. In the boulder hall, the products are distributed in a naturally manner, sometimes one is stacked on the other, sometimes it stands at the end of a staircase as if it is located at a cliff. Above them, huge show windows are floating, two cantilevered spaces used for office space and a multipurpose hall. From the outside, these two masses can be seen as a real display window of products because of the flat solid handrail shaped like a small boulder. The curtained interior space consists of a transparent and translucent back sheet that shows a unique and luxurious pattern. Conceptually, the pattern is a result of the compression of the three-dimensional space of the atrium into a two-dimensional surface. At night, show windows make a delicate silhouette on the glass wall, similar to how Batman’s signal is projected in a cloud.

Project name: Break on through to the other side

Introduction: Climbing is about discovering, about exploring the environment, and searching new ways of understanding your physical context. When we first analyzed the project environment, on one side is a natural territory with no sign of human life except for some plants, which express the aim of people exploring their context. This is the attitude Walltopia users search for in life, to explore and discover the unknown places in order to fully experience them.

Located between two very different poles that have a great tension between them, architects Ignacio Gian, JesĂşs Lorenzo GarvĂ­n, and Ana Vida (Fissure Team), designed the building of the Collider Activity Center to appear as a flow connector in the territory.

Concept:

They create a transition from the urban to nature, from the stability to the unpredictable, from colonized to wild territories. It is broken by an organic geometry, by the adventure, by the representation of the natural world, that cuts the building and makes the users ‘break it, break it through, to the other side’ as a door to adventure.

Sections: In architectural terms, the building’s central space, the soul, is the climbing area. The building functions around the central core. This climbing area is also the exterior image of the project and consists of a 19 m high wall, which is naturally lit by the glass facade.

Massing (elevations, finishing material and details): As a climbing wall, the artificial realization and construction of a natural environment should limit or transition between an urban context to a natural one. In order to express this bipolarity, the building acquires a rigid, geometrical and massive character, that by the use of a grid pattern, pretends to represent the human world, the city, the knowledge and the stability.

The exterior skin is a prefabricated metal that allows natural light to filter into the building. In order control the luminosity, a vertical garden its placed between the skin and the building. The vegetation acts as natural shading to various parts of the building.

Ajloun forest: Ajloun forest cover which was established in the year 1987 are protected, an area of 12 km2 and is located within the Ajloun highlands north of Amman. It consists of mountains are very similar to the Mediterranean regions extent, ranging in height from 600 - 1100 meters above sea level, and contains a series of winding valleys.

The Ajloun Forest nature reserve located in the Ajloun Governorate in northWest Jordan. Established by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature in 1988 in the area around the village of Umm Al-Yanabi, it comprises an area of 13 square kilometres (5 sq mi). The reserve is houses a captive breeding programme for the locally extinct roe deer and has been declared an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International. There are also a number of hiking trails for tourists.

Nature of the area: Ajloun Forest Reserve is 13 square kilometres of tightly forested mountains in northern Jordan. The green swathed hilltops and valleys contain more than 300 types of plant, 30 of them with medicinal purposes. By far the most dominant is the evergreen oak; small trees, often with intricately twisted branches. In the spring, the ground is thickly carpeted with wild flowers such as anemones and rock roses, wild tulips, black iris and seven varieties of orchid.

From my research on my Graduation project book something Caught my attention and let me focus on it the relationship between this three: 1-Tourism 2-Site 3-Economy From this three main points I could create my concept 1-Tourism: There are Two different types of Tourism: 1-Internal Tourism (visit places in side your country) they called locals.

2-External Tourist (visit other places outside your country) they called tourist.
