WHY ARE MAINFRAMES STILL A PRIORITY? Sustainability in the modern digital environment depends on digital transformation. Given its presence for nearly six decades and with all of the most recent technology, Mainframe is a global leader in providing the most secure systems and services for more than 50% of the world's IT sectors and the industry. According to a recent assessment of IT specialists, the mainframe still dominates the IT network and will do so in the future despite digital revolutions. Industry insiders and technologists frequently pronounce technologies to be "dead." The mainframe, which has long served as the foundation of enterprises and organizations, is one of those technologies. Rocket Software recently set out to respond to that question, and the firm conclusion is no. The mainframe still accounts for the vast majority of respondents' IT infrastructure, according to more than half (56%) of them, followed by private clouds (20%) and distributed computing (15 percent ). Presently, a lot of firms recognize the value of expanding their mainframe infrastructure as one of their top priorities and have begun to do so. 2022 will be a crucial year for your firm to advance into the contemporary era and benefit from modernization because of the increased emphasis on IT performance. Every company and enterprise, regardless of size or capability, should update and improve the system with the ultimate objective of updating and broadening the efficiency and user interaction frontiers to get the most out of the mainframe. The significance of digitization cannot be overstated. Additionally, it is anticipated that mainframe modernization will continue to benefit the worldwide
