Please Note: Subject Property Address is a full property address; once it has been entered, it should not be reversed or removed. TBD should not be used to trigger a completed application.

Branches that submit loan applications to be reviewed for initial disclosures should be sure the subject property address shown in Encompass does not reflect a TBD. Initial disclosures should never be sent with a TBD as the subject property address.

CULTURE CORNER Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI Heritage Month) is an annual celebration that recognizes the historical and cultural contributions of individuals and groups of Asian and Pacific Islander descent to the United States.

The AAPI umbrella term includes culturesfrom the entire Asian continent—including East, Southeast and South Asia—and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH Mental Health Month raises awareness of trauma and the impact it can have on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of children, families, and communities. Mental Health Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans' lives, and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. Mental health is essential for a person's overall health. Prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can recover from mental disorders and live full and productive lives.

Over the past 20 years, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and others within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and across the Federal Government, the public health community, and the general public have made efforts to increase the importance of understanding both prevention and treatment of mental health problems. These efforts have significantly improved the outlook for those affected by mental illnesses.

RESOURCES Treatment for mental illnesses usually includes therapy (virtual or in person), medication, or a combination of the two.

There are many ways to find a provider who will meet your needs Primary care provider: A primary care provider can perform an initial mental health screening and refer you to a mental health professional (such as a social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist). If you have an appointment with a primary care provider, consider bringing up your mental health concerns and asking for help.

MAIN STREET KITCHEN & BAR CELEBRATE CINO DE MAYO (FROM THE KITCHEN) ALL MONTH LONG! Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates Mexico's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It's not really a popular holiday in Mexico, but in the United States it has become an important way to commemorate Mexican culture and heritage especially in Mexican-American populations.

ESQUITES RECIPE INGREDIENTS

4 cups frozen or fresh corn kernels ¾ cup mayonnaise - plus more to taste ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika ¼ teaspoon chili powder ¼ teaspoon garlic powder Juice of 1 lime, or to taste ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro ¼ cup small diced red onions 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered Diced jalapeños (optional) 1 medium avocado, diced ½ cup crumbled cotija cheese or queso fresco - plus more for garnish Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS Char corn: Heat a large skillet over high heat, no need to add oil (I’d recommend cast iron). In batches, char the corn kernels over the hot skillet. Let it char undisturbed for a few minutes, then give it a stir to char the other side. Let cool. Tip: The fastest way to let the corn cool down is by spreading it over a sheet pan.

Make the dressing: In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and fresh lime juice.

Combine ingredients: Add corn, onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and diced jalapeños (if using) to the prepared dressing. Stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then, carefully stir in avocado and cotija cheese.

Top with more crumbled cheese for garnish. Enjoy warm or cold.

MAIN STREET KITCHEN & BAR Cinco de Mayo isn’t exactly a traditional Mexican holiday. In fact, it was Mexican-Americans who first began honoring the country’s victory against France in the Battle of Puebla, which took place in 1862. Since the first festivities in southern border states like California in 1863, the holiday has become a day for mostly Americans to celebrate Mexican culture—which, of course, includes Mexican (or Mexican-American) food and drink.

THE CLASSIC MARGARITA Ingredients 2 ounces blanco tequila 1/2 ounce orange liqueur 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 1/2 ounce agave syrup Garnish: lime wheel Garnish: kosher salt (optional)

Directions 1. Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake until well-chilled.

2. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

3. Garnish with a lime wheel and kosher salt rim (optional)

THE TRADITIONAL PALOMA Ingredients 2 ounces tequila 1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 4 ounces Grapefruit soda, chilled, to top Pinch of salt Garnish: lime wheel or grapefruit slice

Directions 1. Add the tequila, lime juice, and pinch of salt to the glass, and fill with ice.

2. Top with grapefruit soda, and stir briefly and gently to combine.

3. Garnish with a lime wheel or grapefruit slice
