Branch River Park
445 S Commercial St • Goliad, TX Branch River park is a 4.2 acre park that links Goliad’s historic courthouse square to the San Antonio River, as well as the Angel of Goliad Hike & Bike Trail and the Ferry St River Access Site.
Coleto Creek Park & Reservoir
365 Coleto Park Rd • Victoria, TX The Coleto Creek Park and Reservoir, located midway between Victoria and Goliad, is a joint project between Coleto Creek Power and the GBRA. At normal pool elevation it covers 3,100 surface acres with 61 miles of shoreline. The reservoir is fed through four major creeks from a 507 square mile drainage basin.
Fannin Plaza Park and Fort Fun Children’s Park
200-298 E Franklin St • Goliad, TX This is a nice tree covered park one block North of Goliad Town Square. A children’s playground is located on the East side. The park features two historic cannons recovered from the Battle of Goliad. A memorial monument, in tribute to Fannin and his men, was added in 1882.
Goliad Golf Club
1103 W Fannin St • Goliad, TX Goliad Golf course is a 9 hole course. Price for 9 or 18 holes is $15 green fee and $10 per person for cart rentals.
Goliad State Park and Historic Site (Texas Parks and Wildlife)
108 Park Rd 6 • Goliad, TX Goliad State Park and Historic Site is a 188.3 acres state park located along the San Antonio River on the southern edge of Goliad, Texas. In addition to recreational facilities the park property includes three historic sites - the reconstructed Mission Nuestra Señora del Espíritu Santo de Zúñiga, the ruins of Mission Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the reconstructed birthplace of Ignacio Zaragoza.
