THE MANAGER

Mike Cook

Ex-Gloucester City manager, Mike joined Chippenham Town in January 2020. He started his professional career with Coventry City’s youth team, where he won the FA Youth Cup against Charlton Athletic. He gained England recognition for the U18s. After a brief spell on-loan to York City, he signed for Cambridge United. Injuries meant he made only 17 appearances in two seasons. A subsequent spinal injury forced his retirement from the professional game. He then had spells in non-League football with, amongst others, Wycombe Wanderers, Corby Town and Cambridge City. Mike started his coaching career in 1992 and helped develop players from the community programme at Cambridge United to the first team, working alongside Gary Johnstone. He took up a similar post at Cheltenham Town in 1999 and had spells as assistant manager of Gloucester City and as manager of Cinderford Town. After ten years with Cheltenham, he joined the staff of the Professional Footballers’ Association in July 2009 as a regional coach educator.

Ricky Aguiar: Midfielder

Joined CTFC on a youth loan from Swindon Town in October 2021.

Alex Bray: Midfielder

Re-signing for season 2021/22, Alex first signed for Chippenham Town in February 2020 joining the club from Hereford. His previous clubs included Swansea City and Rotherham United, with loan spells at Plymouth Argyle, Forest Green Rovers, York City and Weston-super-Mare.

Alefe Santos D’Abadia: Midfielder

Alefe signed for Chippenham Town for season 2021/22. He began his career at Stoke City before joining Bristol Rovers in summer 2011, making his professional debut the following year. In 2014, he joined Derby County and his time there included loan spells with Notts County and Eastleigh, before he signed for Yeovil in 2017 and subsequently Aldershot in 2019. In August 2020, he joined Weymouth from where he joins Chippenham Town.

Danny Greenslade: Defender

Danny joined Chippenham Town in summer 2020 from Hereford. Injury curtailed his 2020/21 appearances, even in a muchreduced pandemic season. His previous clubs include Bristol Rovers.

Daniel Griffiths: Forward

Daniel signed for Chippenham Town on a two-year deal this summer from Cardiff City, having joined the Welsh side from Liverpool in summer 2018. He is a Welsh youth international forward. His goals for Cymru Premier side Penybont, during the 2019/20 season, helped them avoid relegation.

Callum Gunner: Midfielder

Callum first joined Chippenham Town in November 2018, on-loan from Bradford City. He signed permanently on non-contract terms for the 2019/20 season and has now committed to a fourth season with the Club.

Spencer Hamilton: Defender

Spencer signed for Chippenham Town in summer 2020 after six seasons and more than 140 appearances across the back line for Gloucester City. He is a former Cheltenham Town trainee.

Joe Hanks: Midfield

Joe signed for Chippenham Town in summer 2020, joining from Gloucester City. He played League 2 football in his early career for Cheltenham Town and has re-signed for season 2021/22.

Cameron Hargreaves: Midfielder

Joined CTFC on-loan from Bristol Rovers in November 2021.

Will Henry: Goalkeeper

Signing for Chippenham Town for the 2021/22 season, Will first played for the club in season 2018/19, on a one-month loan from Swindon Town. His previous clubs include Hampton & Richmond Borough and Bath City, from where he joins Chippenham Town.

Adam Mann: Forward

Adam first signed for Chippenham Town last season. He began his career with Gloucester City and subsequently spent eighteen months with Shortwood United, helping them reach the FA Cup First Round, before returning to Gloucester City in February 2014. After a loan and subsequent permanent move to Evesham United, he joined Bath City in summer 2018 and has re-signed for Chippenham Town.

Kieran Parselle: Defender

Kieran first signed for Chippenham Town for season 2018/19. His previous clubs included Gloucester City and Newport County. He has captained the side since season 2019/20 and has re-signed for the 2021/22 season.

Harry Parsons: Forward

Joined CTFC on-loan from Swindon Town in November 2021.

Will Richards: Defender

Originally signed for Chippenham Town in July 2016, previously with Redditch Utd. Will was a regular in the side until leaving for Australia in early 2020. There he played for Melbourne Club, Doveton FC and subsequently Brisbane Club and Grange Thistle, before returning to the UK in July 2021 and re-signing for CTFC on contract terms for the 2021/22 season.

Callum Rowe: Defender

Joined CTFC on-loan from Exeter City in November 2021.

Luke Russe: Midfielder

Luke joined Chippenham Town in January 2020 on an extended end of season loan from Bristol Rovers. He joined the club on permanent transfer terms that summer and has re-signed for a further season.

Zain Walker: Midfielder

Joined CTFC on-loan from Bristol Rovers in November 2021.

Harry Warwick: Forward

Harry’s previous club was Bristol Rovers. Following several successful pre-season appearances for Chippenham Town, he signed for the club this summer.
