Martini Ingredients

2 1/2 ounces gin

1/2 ounce dry vermouth

1 dash orange bitters Steps

1 Add the gin, dry vermouth, and orange bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until very cold.

2.Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

3.Garnish with a lemon twist.

Tip: There are many variations of martinis. Some people prefer vodka to gin. To make a martini dirty is to add olive brine. A wet martini has a higher ratio of vermouth to gin, and a dry martini is the opposite. Some people prefer to have their martini shaken to dilute it, while other prefer to have theirs stirred.

Tequila Sunrise Ingredients

2 ounces blanco tequila

4 ounces orange juice, freshly squeezed 1/4 ounce grenadine

Garnish: orange slice, cherry

2.Top with the grenadine, which will sink to the bottom of the glass, creating a layered effect.

3.Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Tip: best to use an un-aged blanco tequila. The fresh, bright notes of blanco tequila work best for cocktails with citrus juice.
