1 Letter from the Chairman Firstly, I would like to thank and congratulate everyone who joined us in celebrating the first Qatar Camping Expo. This unique event would not have been possible without the support we received from all Government and Ministerial entities. This on-going support is a reflection of our drive to keep the heritage alive and preserve the authentic icon of the Arab culture.

As accustomed, we at Gulf Marketing have been working sincerely on organizing this event to provide all participants with this unique opportunity to experience, explore and enjoy all that is innovative in the field of camping.

4 Ministry of Environment - Stand C34 The ministry of environment is striving to achieve several goals, most importantly, protecting the environment through inclusive and sustainable growth for future generation to achieve the vision of 2030.

Reaching the vision would be through wildlife growth, preparing and proposing laws, projects and suitable solutions for all environmental issues, implementing them by training Qatari nationals in implementation of environmental protocols, as well as environmental awareness.

6 Civil Defence - Stand D15 Fire Police Department: was established in 1955,equipped only with 2 fire fighting vehicles ans 12 fire fighters in one fire station in the city of Doha.

Fire police Department in Qatar had developed with the introducing of modern aspect of life, in 1991,Fire Police Department was changed to the Administrative of Civil Defence as well as a decree was issued in 1997 to organize the assignments and the duties of the civil Defence Department.

The Department of Civil Defence reached about 16 facilities by the end of 2004;one main center and small sub-centers in addition to 270 fire fighters.

Under the auspices of his Highness the Heir Apparent HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamd AL Thani,a committee was formed in August 2004,its mission is to develop the duties of the civil defence to reach the highest international levels in a period no less than 5 years.

The committee started its work by the help of (24) British experts in order to present a comprehensive study that analyze and evaluate the performance of civil defence in Qatar and to be on line with the highest standards of the civil defence in the world in addition to demonstrate the deficiencies and shortcomings and to propose procedures and recommendations to achieve the goals set by His Highness the Heir Apparent.

The results of the study was presented to His Highness the Heir Apparent and to the His Excellency the Minister of State of the Internal Affaires in May 2005,and it included (276)recommendations.

The recommendation related to a specific topic were combined under the name of project.There was about (30)projects.

Strategic plans and programs were set to implement projects.The projects were seemed effects on 1/1/2006 according to the projects priorites and the needs of the civil defence.

Soul Riders - Stand C31 “Soul Riders MC - Qatar” A Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club that started off a year ago in the State of Qatar on the 13th of October 2012. The Club was formed by 11 riders lead by Mr Khalid Alhamadi all who ride, still love riding and will continue the journey of riding their Harley Motorcycles. These 11 riders rode for 6 months until one day they sat together and decided to start a Motorcycle Club. The thought process was so strong that in 5 days they even finalized and came up with the Soul Rider MC Logo.
