GARMENT FACTORY CONCEPT • • • • •
Machine and manpower are the main things that is needed in a factory. I mixed both object to create a form that helped me to find a object. But the image was not taken in it’s original form. It was taken in modified form. Both the object was mixed and gave a rough idea of human through use of human and machine. • Then the object was put inverted in site to manage its functions. • Then the form was further changed to obtain a final form. APPROACH TOWARD SUSTAINABILITY • Use of skylights. • Use of light weight material. • Availability of greenery.

SCHOOL DESIGN CONCEPT • • • •
Modular design was the concept for generation of plan of school. At first, a rectangle was taken. Then by creating void for courtyard final form was developed. I took modular design as concept because it provides flexibility to design.
FORM DEVELOPMENT
LAYOUT PLANNING • Blocks were divided according to function. • Admin, Auditorium, Cafeteria was placed near from road so that it is near to visitors and community could use the available facilities. • Classrooms were placed in quiet area in north to avoid glare. •
Buffer was created between classrooms.

COMMERCIAL COMPLEX CONCEPT • I took design principle as concept. • I made plan using symmetry and hierarchy. SITE INFORMATION • Rudreshwor, Budhanilkantha Ward No. 23 • Budhanilkantha is 1465m above sea level. • Located on the northern part of Kathmandu valley. LAYOUT PLANNING • There was two entrance provided for easy access. • Atrium was provided in hexagonal part for proper lighting. • Retail shops were in lower floors followed by offices and recreational spaces in upper floors.

FIRST YEAR DESIGNS INTERIOR DESIGN In first year, I did interior wall design with use of pattern which was both aesthetically pleasing and useful to keep stuffs.
LAMP DESIGN
In first year, I designed lamp by using wooden frame and wool. It was designed in such a way that it prevent glare to eye. PROCESS OF MAKING

It was inspired from traditional lamp. At first, a wooden frame was made. After that, reflecting material was put on the top. Then wool was wrapped around it. Two different colors were used to give different shades of light.
