ENTERTAINMENT

NEW FOR 2025

Live Music

On stage 12:30-13:30 and 14:30-15:30!

Dorset-based 3-piece Chill will be gracing the Westival stage this year. The pop-rock covers band play everything from Kings of Leon to Bon Jovi via Madness. Known as ‘The Party Band’, they’ve played well over 1500 gigs since their formation in 1999, so we’re guaranteed a good time!

We'll also be treated to a set from local singer-songwriter Charlotte Geary

No booking required!

Kids’ Craft Tent

Pop into the craft tent and get creative! You can make colourful air dry clay creations (great for younger children or children with SEN) or use Dorset-grown buff willow rods to make dreamcatchers complete with beads and feathers. Activities are free of charge, but you can drop a donation in the bucket for the wonderful arts education charity running the tent, Creative Kids UK.

Tightwire & Balance Skills Area

Join the Circus!

Steamship Circus is a contemporary circus and performance group based in Bournemouth, and we’re very excited they’ll be bringing their captivating balance skills workshops to Westival! Have a go at tightwire, aerial hoop or stilts and experience the joy and magic of the circus.

RETURNING FAVOURITES

Mountain Bike Stunt Show

Shows at 13:15 and 15:00

A hugely popular act from 2024 that we just had to have back again! Urban Display’s high-energy extreme sports show sees mountain bike athletes perform a series of daring feats on a purpose-built rig; feats that require incredible balance, accuracy and an element of crazy! They’ll be doing two shows, so make sure you catch at least one to cheer them on to nail those manoeuvres.

Ferret Racing

Magic Show 13:00 Circus Skills 14:00-16:00

Amazing Kids’ Entertainment

Krazy Kev needs no introduction to regular Westival-goers! He’s the South’s leading children’s entertainer, renowned for his silly comedy and impressive magic skills. The whole family can enjoy his show and try out some circus skills under his professional guidance! Guaranteed fun and laughter.

Wessex Ferret Club aim to change the often negative view of a ferret to that of a loving, fluffy family friend. They certainly achieved that aim last year, with families enjoying the frantic fun of ferret racing! Pop along to their tent for a chance to meet and handle the ferrets, and to find out more about them.

Birds of Prey

Flying displays at 12:45 and 15:30

Bobbie and her team will be back to show off their beautiful birds, offering handling for just £3. Make sure you head over to their area of the field to see these incredible creatures up close and in action in two flying displays.

Winner announced at 13:30!

Wheel Display

We welcome all wheels to our showcase! We have a record number of vehicles signed up for 2025, with a variety of car clubs and individuals set to show off their pride & joys. Who will win this year’s trophy for ‘The Car I’d Most Like to Take Home’?!
