Cheese & Chilli Festival
Welcome to the 2026
On behalf of the entire team, I’d like to warmly welcome you to this year’s Cheese & Chilli Festival, it’s fantastic to have you with us.
What started as a passion for great food, vibrant atmospheres, and bringing communities together has grown into a series of festivals we’re incredibly proud of. Each event is unique, but at the heart of them all is the same goal, to create a fun, relaxed, and flavour-filled day out for everyone.
Whether you’re here to sample incredible cheeses, turn up the heat with some fiery chilli products, enjoy the live music, or simply soak up the atmosphere with family and friends, we hope there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We’re especially grateful to all of our traders, performers, sponsors, and staff who work so hard behind the scenes to make these events possible, and of course, to you for coming along and supporting us.
Thank you for being part of the Cheese & Chilli Festival. We hope you have an amazing day and leave with full bags, happy memories, and maybe just a little bit of chilli-induced heat!

Get ready for plenty of flavour and fiery fun in the Cooking Theatre!
We’re thrilled to welcome back the legendary Chilli Olly and Chilli Dave, who will be hosting a full programme of lively cooking demonstrations and entertainment throughout the day. They’ll be joined by a fantastic lineup of guest speakers, including local cheese makers and chilli producers, all sharing their passion, stories, and expert tips.
Don’t forget to check the schedule so you don’t miss your favourite sessions — and of course the hugely popular Chilli Challenge, where brave volunteers take on some seriously hot sauces! Expect laughs, bold flavours, and plenty of delicious inspiration.

2026 Cheese & Chilli Festival
Chilli eating competition
Every day at 4pm, the ultimate test of heat kicks off! Watch as fearless (or maybe slightly crazy) contestants take on the fiery challenge, battling through increasingly hot chillies. It’s always a hilarious spectacle—who knew such tiny fruits could cause so much drama?
The last person standing wins the glory (and probably a lot of milk)!
