Welcome to

Poole Goes Vintage!

We are thrilled to welcome you to Poole Goes Vintage on Sunday 13th July, 11am – 6pm – a fabulous day that celebrates all things retro with music, style, food and family fun, right in the heart of Poole.

This year, we’re excited to unveil a brand new event layout that spreads the vintage joy across more of the town than ever before. The High Street becomes centre stage – literally – with our main stage positioned directly outside the Slug and Lettuce, where you’ll enjoy an unforgettable line-up including DJ Mr D! (Dave Norrell), The Land Girls, Amy Baker, Jitterbug Jive, Peter Gill as Jerry Lee Lewis, and the sensational Fifinellas Swing Band.

Just a short stroll away, Amity Square will be swinging to the wartime tunes of GI45 DJs, surrounded by a bustling hub of artisan, vintage, food and drink traders.

On the Quay, expect a fabulous display of vintage cars and Crazy Rhythm Jukebox DJ, Andy Shailer spinning retro classics, while Falkland Square features atmospheric street performances from The Aphrodite Singers, Russell Jones, and the ever-popular Retro Rita – all supported by fabulous DJ Vernon Whittle!

For the younger vintage lovers, there’s plenty to enjoy too – with stilt walkers, face painting, and the timeless joy of a Punch and Judy show.

We are incredibly grateful to our headline sponsor, Poole BID, for their continued support and commitment to helping us bring this vibrant celebration to life. Thanks also go to the fantastic volunteers from Poole and Westbourne Rotary Clubs, whose energy and enthusiasm are essential to the event's success.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you – so put on your best retro attire, grab your dancing shoes, and join us as we spread the vintage love all around Poole!

With warm wishes, Mandy Polkey Managing Director, Stir Events CIC

Stir Events CIC is proud that Rotary Foundation is now our dedicated charity, meaning that all our events will support Rotary and its incredible work. As a corporate member of the Rotary Club of Westbourne, we recognise and appreciate the invaluable support Rotary volunteers provide year after year, helping to make our festivals a true community celebration. At this year's events, Rotary will have its own stand, where visitors can learn more about the organisation’s impact both locally and globally. We encourage everyone to stop by, meet the team, and, if possible, contribute to their bucket collections, supporting vital causes near and far. Rotary is a global network of over 1.2 million members, working together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, support education, and protect the environment. Their dedication aligns perfectly with our mission at Stir Events, and we are delighted to strengthen our partnership to create lasting change in our communities and beyond.

Sustainability

At Stir Events we are working towards making our events as green, sustainable and eco-friendly as possible.

It’s definitely a ‘work towards’ list but we are on the journey.

• We encourage all food packaging to be made from either wood, paper/ cardboard or leaves and this includes straws.

• Fish, charcoal, and wood must be from a certified sustainable source.

• All traders must take their waste

home with them.

• We have recycling stations along the Quay, plus non recycling bins.

• We source local traders and love to work with artisans who make local foods and goods.

• We have recently become Ambassadors for Sustainable Palm Oil and will encourage those trading and working with us to use it.

An eco-friendly event is one that is all about the effect and influence of the event on our planet. The world is a wonderful place – if we can help a little by making our events as sustainable as possible then we feel we are on the right track – but we are always open to suggestions.

Travel Sustainably to Poole Goes Vintage Music Festival!

Dear Visitors,

As we come together to celebrate at the Poole Goes Vintage Music Festival, let’s also celebrate our beautiful environment by making sustainable travel choices. Here are two easy ways to reduce our carbon footprint:

Use Morebus: Skip the traffic and the parking hassles! Hop on a Morebus to get to the festival. Buses are a fantastic way to enjoy a stress-free trip while helping to protect our planet.

Ride with Beryl Bikes: For those who prefer a more active and eco-friendly option, Beryl Bikes are available throughout the town. Cycling is not only great for the environment but also an enjoyable way to explore Poole.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our festival and our community green. See you at Poole Goes Vintage!

Best regards, The Poole Goes Vintage Team
