Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club will once again be organising The Fete on the Field at the KGV playing fields in Ferndown. This great family day out will take place on Saturday 20th June. There will be lots to see and do, including a funfair, stalls, live music,

classic cars and food vendors. Entry is free and every penny raised will go to worthy charities. More information can be found on our website, in the local press, on leaflets and on the local radio nearer the time. We at Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club look forward to welcoming you all to a great fun day out.

In our recent shows we have enjoyed magnificent vehicles of all shapes, sizes and ages! A big thank you to all who made that happen.

Not got a classic? The owners will be delighted to show you their pride and joys, often the result of many hundreds of hours of dedicated labour, and even many years of honing. Take your time viewing the wonderful selection of club and private entries of all descriptions. Maybe some are like what you used to own or your family members proudly enjoyed years ago, bringing alive your happy motoring memories. There will be classic and customised cars, commercials, British sports cars and early saloons and convertibles, to iconic bubble cars, and

perhaps even the odd tractor! Bringing a classic or custom car? Book online and don’t forget to display your show pass that we will send to you to ease your arrival on the day. Come and enjoy a great day out, enjoy all manner of fun and interesting activities happening across our playing fields and help the Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club raise funds for local charities. There will be much to see with lots of food and drink available to keep you fuelled up! Most of all we hope you enjoy your day with us in Ferndown on the King George V Playing Fields.

South Coast Adventures is a leading outdoor activities provider based in Hamworthy Park, Poole, Dorset with something for everyone.

A regular attraction at the Fete on the Field, we welcome William Coles again this year, providing a range of rides for the family to enjoy.

Raffle

At every Fete on the Field, members of the Ferndown & Parley Rotary Club walk the field trying to extricate monies from people in support of good causes. Known as “the enforcers” it’s difficult to say “no” and all their efforts last year raised a staggering £1,350 for local charities including the local foodbank. Try your luck at winning a wheelbarrow full of bottles - wheelbarrow included.

Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre

Liberty’s centre is located near Ringwood on the edge of the New Forest. It is home to a large collection of birds of prey. Enjoy a visit that will prove to be fun, exciting and educational for all ages. Observe the birds flying free during various spectacular displays held throughout the day.

Urban Cycles

Our high-energy extreme sports show features mountain bike athletes performing a series of daring feats on a purpose-built rig – feats that require incredible balance, accuracy and an element of craziness.

Chuffley Light Railway

Timeless Country Fair Delight

Families young and old delight in a leisurely ride behind one of our beautifully presented miniature steam locomotives — a scene reminiscent of the golden days of the traditional country fair.

Chuffley Light Railway, established in 2019, was founded with the purpose of reviving the charm and character of a bygone age. Our portable miniature steam railway brings to life the unmistakable sights, sounds, and gentle aromas of steam, offering visitors the rare pleasure of stepping back into a simpler, more nostalgic time.

Chuffley Light Railway is a much-loved attraction at local shows and events. With smiling faces, shared laughter, and the gentle rhythm of steam upon the rails, we warmly welcome all generations to step aboard and enjoy a truly unique vintage experience.

We proudly convey this travelling vintage attraction throughout the South Coast, attending a variety of local shows and public events. Guests both young and

old are warmly invited to step aboard, journey back in time, and partake in an experience that is at once nostalgic, engaging, and delightfully unique.

Charlotte is one of our local Superstars who you just may have seen in our local area as she is a very busy rising star.

Charlotte has loved and performed music from an early age and is an incredibly versatile musician with the voice of a sweet songbird. We are very lucky to have Charlotte performing on the main stage today.

Charlotte Geary Swing Squad

The Swing Squad have been seen performing at care homes in the local area on a regular basis.

The band are all of school age and put this project together by themselves. Their influences are predominantly Jazz but………. with a difference.

This year, Swing Squad make their Fete on the Field debut.

RJ's SoulCoaster

RJ's SoulCoaster is a local nine piece band playing all your favourites from the golden age of sweet soul music.

The band have performed all along the South Coast and have supported diverse events such as The World Windsurfing Championships, played at the Bournemouth International Centre (with Status Quo), Poole Quay Summer Breeze Main Stage, various music festivals and venues, weddings, private parties, clubs and of course Fete on the Field today!

Samba Panache

Samba Panache are Dorset’s well-known Samba Band starting up over 20 years ago. They perform at a variety of events, from carnivals and festivals to parties, corporate events, dinners, fayres, or shows. As a band, they can also arrange workshops. Samba Panache welcome both experienced players and total beginners, from 8 years of age - and there are no upper age limits!

Vocalize

Vocalize is a collection of pop, rock, soul and Motown show choirs based in Verwood, Dorset for adults (18+) and children aged 7-17 years old. We combine flawless vocal harmonies with slick choreography to create vibrant and energetic performances for every show.

Since 2018, Vocalize Choir has sold out shows every year, performed at a variety of local events and festivals,

recorded five original songs AND even made it to No.2 on the iTunes Christmas Download chart!

We are not only a group of singers but a family. We welcome anyone who has the passion for music, a love for friendships and a can do attitude to learn and grow. We do ask that you can hold a basic tune and timing because this choir loves to sing and dance simultaneously!
