He found the inspiration for the design during one of his many trips to Cape Town, where early one morning he stumbled upon a stylish wrought iron gate in the old Dutch colonial style, Cape Dutch. Halvor Bakke is one of Norway’s most popular interior designers, well known as a presenter from various TV programs. He has designed interiors and furniture, made colour charts and wallpapers, developed bedding and launched kitchens and cabins.
