Design Halvor Bakke

CLIFTON consists of two trendy and stylish drinking glasses, with an accompanying jug and functional glass jars with lids, designed by interior designer Halvor Bakke. The series consists of two colours: sparkling ice clear and golden, with the latter resembling the gemstone topaz, a symbol of beauty and splendour. Halvor Bakke was inspired by his trips to South Africa, where he always makes sure to visit the beautiful Cliftonbeaches. The series is just as suitable outside on a sunny day as it is inside when it rains. The colours can be combined and blended.

Fjord

Design Knut og Kjartan

Fjord tableware would like to carry on the Norwegian heritage. The visual expression plays with nostalgic, as well as modern elements. It is a fusion between eras and a flirtation with the world’s classical blue porcelain traditions. Knut & Kjartan have moved away from the cobalt blue color practice and instead designed a modern denim blue universe. The illustrations are painted in watercolor by the designers themselves. The tableware reflects old Norwegian handicrafts from Valdres and Finnskogen, with contemporary architectural contrasts.

VOYAGE Design Storm

VOYAGE is an exclusive and sophisticated porcelain series in eight functional parts, designed by the talented stylist, Storm. White, with gorgeous black detailing, this porcelain tableware combines art deco and modern interior stylings with that of a luxurious French bistro. Inspired by Storm’s many travels and finessed down to the smallest detail with a timeless design, VOYAGE is just as suited to a table setting for two as a large and festive group of friends.

The VOYAGE large plate and pasta bowl are long awaited parts in the trendy VOYAGE porcelain series, designed by the Norwegian stylist and interior designer Storm Storm. The new parts are clean, functional and stylish. Both pieces are kept minimalist in white with a small, black palm tree and a delicate black edge. He found the inspiration for the design during one of his many trips to Cape Town, where early one morning he stumbled upon a stylish wrought iron gate in the old Dutch colonial style, Cape Dutch. All the porcelain is made in the best feldspar quality with matt glaze, high whiteness and strength.

LERK is an exclusive and personalized porcelain tableware of high quality, designed by the famous interior designer Halvor Bakke. Halvor is inspired by his own childhood and his grandmothers larch which had small, playful cones hanging up on bare twigs. They were beautiful and vulnerable, yet rugged, true and honest. Halvor Bakke decided to combine delicate larch cones with tight, masculine decors, pinstripe and tweed, to give the tableware a natural and trendy look. From this, he created LERK. With GALAXIE the designer has created beautiful lanterns which in the dark bear a resemblance to the shining stars and different planets in the night sky. The amazing light has turned into fine lanterns with a soft shape, adding a beautiful light effect to any interior. The lanterns also have the function of a vase as their openings narrow perfectly to keep flowers in place. The classical shape becomes modern whit it’s extra plinth and leaves a perfect canvas to get really creative with the flower combinations. The charcoal colour is stylish and beautiful and is always highlighted in the interior. GALAXIE creates a feeling of everyday luxury, either as a vase in the day or as a lantern in the evening.

Vera

VERA is a series of glamorous faceted lanterns and candleholders, designed by interior designer Halvor Bakke. VERA is Halvor’s own diamond and was created as a tribute to his great love and best friend, the Jack Rusell terrier Vera. She was “daddy’s girl” for almost 15 years and gave a lot of joy, so Halvor wanted VERA to become beautiful jewellery too; a sparkling centrepiece in the home.

ROCKS JUBILEE Special Edition is a set of elegant lanterns and vases, designed by interior designer Halvor Bakke. The series was made to celebrate Magnor Glassverk’s 125th anniversary in the autumn of 2021. This unique and exclusive anniversary variant is a SPECIAL EDITION which is handmade and decorated in three layers; opaque coloured glass laid all the way to the inside, a black confetti layer of molten glass pieces in the middle and finally a layer of clear glass which is brush-painted with a golden topaz lustre on the outside. He found inspiration for this design from his many trips to Mølen, where he strolled along the shore and enjoyed the sight of beautiful rock formations made by moraines from the ice age. Here he has transformed nature’s beautiful but often stark shapes and colours into gorgeous lanterns and vases, available for a limited time only.

He has seen the shapes and the play of colours in the real and honest landscape, and allowed himself to play with nature’s own shapes. This is how Halvor Bakke created the ROCKS series. IGLO is a beautiful and atmospheric series of vases / lanterns, designed by the famous couple KNUT & KJARTAN.
