Masonic Dress falls into the proper etiquette of any Masonic Body. Why do we have a dress code, you ask? The reason behind the dress code is to show that every man is equal as a Freemason, no matter their background Remember being divested of all metallic substances, neither naked nor shod We all come from different walks of life therefore, wearing the same dress puts everyone on the level

Some of these things seem elementary, but we must go back and reinforce them to Fraters so that they understand proper Masonic Etiquette as a Scottish Rite Mason. In our Orient, we will follow the Constitution and General Regulation of the United Supreme Council,33° Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA I know we all like to add style to our dress but that style makes our dress improper Earrings, different color socks, and shoes with lightcolored soles, even though they are comfortable and look good they are not allowed. All of these things bring attention to you and are not in compliance with our rules and regulations.
