proudly hails from the North West, specifically from the abundant land of Kanana Believing she inherited her artistic talent from her late grandfather Tuse, she was inspired by his multifaceted skills, including his prowess in art Growing up under his guidance, she knew she would nurture this talent and carry on his legacy, leading her to establish her own art company, Tusé Arts

During her high school years, she was already certain that art would be her lifelong pursuit For her, art held a healing power, both personally and for those around her. She aimed to inspire others to embrace their artistic abilities and share their stories through canvases, with hopes of one day traveling the world herself.

Her late grandfather's creative hands were a constant source of inspiration, whether in crafting beautiful gardens or designing houses. Her mother, uMadlomo, has been a steadfast supporter throughout her artistic journey, offering guidance and encouragement along the way.

Reflecting on her first art exhibition at school, she fondly recalls the messy dining room transformed by her creations, a testament to her early dedication to her craft Despite the challenges, she finds joy in the camaraderie of art exhibitions, relishing in the diverse stories shared by fellow artists and drawing inspiration from their journeys

Andile Mayekiso is a visual artist, a contemporary photographer, a farmer, and the Co-founder of Darklights and Bari Steez.

Born and bred in Klerksdorp, Jouberton Shawela, Andile's love for creating, documenting, researching, and storytelling led him to pursue photography Initially a hobby that brought him happiness and activity, he decided to turn professional to fuel his passion further

Andile draws inspiration from nature, music, and social issues. His late father cherished his work as if it were his own, often engaging in lengthy discussions about it whenever possible. Additionally, Andile's supportive wife and creative friends have played integral roles in his journey as a photographer. What he finds most fulfilling about being a photographer is the freedom of expression it offers, allowing him to address social issues and provoke thought through his work.

I believe that some of the challenges we face are simply part of the natural process. Not everyone will understand my journey, but those who do, truly do. For me, overcoming challenges involves staying true to myself and continuing to create. While I may not be proud of dropping out of various colleges and universities, it's a part of my story. I tried different courses because it seemed like the right thing to do, but I never found joy in them. That's what happens when you pursue something you don't love. Despite this, I refuse to quit art. To anyone reading this, I urge you to finish what you start, and remember that education is invaluable.

Although I may never meet them as they have long passed away, I have drawn immense inspiration from individuals such as Thomas Sankara, Steve Biko, and Fela Anikolapo Kuti.

Andile's approach to his creative process is always dictated by the concept and message he aims to convey. Drawing inspiration from nature, music, and social change, he strives to capture his reality to tell his truth. Describing his signature style, Andile believes in portraying authenticity over aesthetics, setting him apart from others. Noteworthy achievements include winning the Taung Calabash competition three consecutive years and having his work showcased at prestigious venues such as the B.gallery and The Klerksdorp Museum.

My name is Mpumelelo Kalipa, stage name Mac-Kalls, Jimmy Minion is my alter-ego when I produce a beat/song.

2. Recently you dropped single, how is the reception?

I dropped a single last Friday and the response has been more than great.

3. What inspired the messaging behind the song?

I just wanted to introduce myself to the industry in a more honest and grown type of way. Also wanted to paint a picture of where I'm from and all that. Well honesty is the best policy bro. I can't lie on my songs.

Allure not only brings our patrons an event they’ll remember forever, we also bring them an event that bring people together, catering to different types of music genres.

Our company with the aim of catapulting the events, arts, culture and tourism industries to new heights in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda Municipal District, with a major focus on bringing opportunities to young creatives and artists throughout the entire process and implementation of the event in all it's phases. The event focuses on creating a musical event where local musicians and MCs get the chance to share a stage with big National Acts while also receiving exposure through our range of digital platforms and marketing efforts alike.

We are North West Province's first and only Urban Luxe Extravaganza and we aim to push the levels even higher.

Our first event took place on the 2nd-3rd October 2021 in the City of Matlosana and it was a massive success, with constant feedback from our patrons to relive the experience, we hosted the second part of the series, Allure 2.0 on the 18th-19th December 2021 succeeded even through undesirable weather conditions and Covid restrictions. This event was followed by our Allure Anniversary Affair event which took place on 29 -30 October 2022.

2023 we hosted the Allure 4.0 event which was the 4th in the series of events but more importantly, the 2nd year anniversary of our Debut eventAllure Summer Experience. This event was yet another success much like the 3 events before it. In 2024, we will be hosting our 5th installment of the Allure Experience event series, which will be called Allure 5.0 the event occurs annually in October

Well, some say I’m a Rockstar. After witnessing the unparalleled energy and curated luxury at these events, it sparked a desire to bring a similar concept to life in my hometown, the City of Matlosana. The idea got fueled by a close friend of mine after several attempts of convincing. We boast a vibrant culture and deserve event experiences that reflect our unique spirit. Allure Experience aims to bridge that gap, offering residents and visitors alike a taste of top class luxury and entertainment, right here at home.

Tshepiso enjoys watching the dream come to life, every single year. Through the partnerships that keep growing with companies like Ice Tropez, SAB, Hennessey and others company's that are watching what their doing. As a team they are constantly trying to perfect their event management process. But most importantly looking at his patrons having a good time, it makes all the stress they endure worth it. He is very passionate about showcasing our city’s potential for sophisticated entertainment. By creating events that rival premium experiences from big cities in SA. It's invigorating to be part of that growth and positive change.

Some of the biggest challenges in hosting any event is capital and reaching the required audience especially in our city which does not host events quite like ours. Establishing Allure Experience as a brand synonymous with high-end experiences requires consistent excellence in exceeding expectations. Building trust and attracting a discerning clientele takes time and a proven track record and that was challenging when they were starting off. Additionally, securing partnerships with internationally and nationally recognized brands can be a hurdle. We actively work on forging strong relationships and showcasing the potential of the market to attract these toptier players said Tshepiso.

To overcome those challenges is to not take no for an answer and continuously knocking on doors. For example, they had been chasing Hennessy to come on board with their events as a partner since the beginning of the journey in 2021, and they didn’t get a “yes” until the fourth event. Planning early helps especially with sponsorships and partnerships which tends to ease the financial burden. Despite these challenges, the rewards of crafting unforgettable experiences and showcasing Matlosana’s potential for sophisticated entertainment are incredibly motivating.

How Thepiso started he actually wanted to create a small luxury event, one could maybe even call it something like a party, as a way to test the local market. It was not supposed to be anything big, but during the planning phase the team which just so happens to be made up of perfectionists and big dreamers they decided, its either they go BIG or their not doing it. They had a point to prove as they were all starting out in this space. Financially speaking he had to wreck his finances a bit as they didn’t have any partners when they began but it has all been worth it as every year growth is seen.

Only describe it in 3 words can describe the first event: Stress, Anxiety, Fatigue. But it was a wonderful experience. Everyone in the team stayed up many nights and worked to the bone which resulted in a dope event for all the patrons. There is a thrill from hosting the first event that can’t be experienced twice.

Tshepiso has been working in events for just under four years now, and in that time he has learnt to keep the mentality of always be learning how to do things better than the last. I’m forever a student he said, I am now quite seasoned in this space but no, I’m no expert yet he added.
