Welcome

Words can’t describe 2020 so let us just move on. We can only say that in February we had the highest grossing and averaging sale figures held in Perth for many years.

We were finally able to sell in the fantastic new auditorium providing a very comfortable venue that stimulated spirited bidding throughout the two-day sale.

Again we have seen wonderful results throughout the year by Perth sale graduates and the trend is continuing this season with success by early-season two year olds.

The Pinjarra Magic Millions Ladies Day Race meeting grows and grows. And the first year with the Racing Women’s Bonus attached to the 2YO Classic proved supremely popular with 11 accepted and eight starters of the 14 runners owned by women.

This year we are pleased to be raising the prizemoney for the Magic Millions 3YO Trophy to $200,000 which I’m sure will be well received by the industry.

The successful emergence of several young stallions in WA has seen good numbers of mares being bred locally which is very positive for the future.

Increased prizemoney distributions by RWWA is putting money in owners’ pockets and I am looking forward to reinvestment in our quality 2021 yearling catalogue. This year’s consignment of just on 300 yearlings represent a large group of successful WA based stallions who are eligible for the lucrative Westspeed Platinum Bonuses. Eastern state stallions represented, while smaller in number, are successful sires across the nation and extremely popular.

I look forward to welcoming our many friends and guests from near and afar to Perth and the Swan Valley. Please take time to explore the beautiful Swan Valley as well as greater Western Australia, now the safest place in the world to live.

Good luck and best wishes to all vendors and buyers at Magic Millions Perth 2021.
