It involves fluid statics, kinematics and dynamics of solid bodies in fluids and the ways in which they are affected. The study also includes design of fluid systems such as turbines, pumps, valves, pipes, compressors and hydraulic systems. Fluid engineering finds applications in industries like aerospace, medicine, transportation and food to name a few.

4. Robotics – Robotics deals with the design and creation of mechanical devices that can interact with their surroundings and be controlled by a remote. Robots can vary from simple designs to complex machinery, which are able to handle complicated and dangerous operations. Industries such as transportation and agriculture have high demand for engineers who have knowledge of robotics.
