The FoodFix Is a restaurant project that I created in 2020. My aim for creating this project was to design a construction that communicates a lot about the function it was built for, and what it consists of.

Title : The FoodFix
As illustrated on the next pages of this project, I try to create an entire construction project demonstration with analysis's and all the inspections that need to be completed for a construction project The FoodFix Is a restaurant project that I created in 2020, and my aim for creating this project was to design a construction that communicates a lot about the function it was built for and what it consists of

PROJECT 01 / The FoodFix Restaurant
SITE LOCATION OVERVIEW I did this research to study the characteristics of the site, while also gathering information like sizes, features, distances, and roads that access the specific location where our restaurant will be constructed. This is because these factors affect the site location selection, and also the structural design of the building.
The maps above show the existing transport infrastructure (and routes) that can be used to access the site
Site View On these images from bottom to top, the red marks show the exact point where our site is located and the arrows are to direct the viewer The images also show the topography of this location, including the different physical features and also the existing infrastructure like constructions, roads and routes.

PERSPECTIVE VIEWS
RIGHT SIDE VIEW From the right side perspective, the viewer can see the closest part, which is the Drinking Can, and then a small portion of the burger-shaped part of the restaurant.
LEFT SIDE VIEW From the left side perspective, the viewer can see the closest part, which is the main entrance of the restaurant, and then a small portion of the Drinking Can, and the burger-shaped part of the restaurant.
FRONT SIDE VIEW From the front side perspective, the viewer can see the entire shape of the building, and all the parts are visible

Shape and Design In the images below, I try to illustrate the shape of the house from different perspectives, and this was the process that enabled me to come about finding the coreect design, size and shape of the entire building.
Element Shapes These figures are a few of the many solid and two-dimension illustrations of the design process. These are some picture variations of process of figuring out and designing the shape of a single element in a way that can suit our proposed building plan.

COLOR DISTRIBUTION Colors in Architecture are necessary to highlight, illuminate and separate spaces but also to transmit sensations. For example, the color of a building is like the presentation of a product and it acts as a stimulus to create a first impression. The choice of color is therefore based on static factors and also psychological, cultural, and social factors. (architectus.com, 2020) Some important factors that affected my choice of colors for this particular project were mainly, the function of this construction and its components. But I was also trying to match the desired figure of this construction (a burger).

Lost Hope Is a fine art drawing project that I created in 2020 My aim for creating this project was to depict a certain emotion with the help of drawings while also showcasing fine art abilities and the ability to come up with ideas and present them

Title : LOST HOPE
As illustrated on the next pages of this project, I tried to create an entire drawing project based on an Inspiring conversation that I had with a former teacher and facilitator about hope and how it feels to lose. In this project I tried to create drawings that almost capture that moment when we feel like everything around is against us. My favourite thing about this project is how everyone seems to have an interesting perspective on what the drawings represents and all their points and views are true in their in a unique way.
Included Drawing 01 : Inside a Bomb Drawing 02 : Inside a Heart Drawing 03 : Inside a Bottle
PROJECT 02 : From Page 11 to Page 18

PROJECT 02 / Lost Hope
Inside A Bomb This drawing consists of a person that is stuck in a lit bomb, with a brick wall and no exits. The Person has lost hope for life, and feels like theres no time to do anything about his situation.
Drawing 01 : Lost Hope - Inside The Bomb A4 Sized Notebook with a black pen. SEPTEMBER/2020
| 13
A Bomb A bomb is a container filled with explosive material, designed to explode on impact or when detonated. In this drawing, there is a person stuck inside the bomb, which is how it almost feels when we experience rough times
A Brick Wall This wall made of brick is an immovable substance, that clearly is blocking the person inside. The brick wall in this drawing was to symbolise the challenging obstacles or the obstruction that this person was feeling.
A Person or A Feeling The person in the painting obviously looks lost and depressed. According to the situation that he is going through, it looks like its too much to bear and he has lost hope. He can not make it out alive.
A Candle A candle is a cylinder made of wax or tallow with a central wick which is lit to produce light as it burns. In this drawing, the lit candle symbolises a light in the darkness and the fading light is showing the hope that is fading.

PROJECT 02 / Lost Hope
Inside A Heart In this drawing, we see a person stuck inside a heart and is also in chains. My favourite thing about this drawing is how broad the idea of what it means goes to the people who have seen it.
Drawing 02 : Lost Hope - Inside A Heart A4 Sized Notebook with a black pen. SEPTEMBER/2020
| 15
The Heart In this drawing the person looks stuck in a heart. The heart in this drawing might symbolise a lot of things such as relationships, situations and more.
Chained Arms The chained arms in this drawing most were used as a symbol to represent a feel of incarceration. But also, chained arms can represent oppression, slavery, defeat, and many other things or feelings.
A Person or A Feeling The person in the painting obviously looks lost and depressed. According to the situation that he is going through, it looks like its too much to bear and he has lost hope. He can not make it out alive.
The Dark Just like the Light is used to convey something positive, goodness, life or hope, the darkness is often used to convey negativity or even the unknown. So the dark in this drawing can illustrate the state or the situation within which the person is in, as a dark area or as a negative place with no hope.

PROJECT 02 / Lost Hope
Inside A Bottle In this drawing we see a hand of a person, seemingly calling for help. It looks as if the liquid substance that is contained in the lost bottle, has a person stuck inside.
Drawing 02 : Lost Hope (Inside A Bottle) A4 Sized Notebook with a black pen. SEPTEMBER , 2020
| 17
A Lost Bottle To bottle something up means to conceal it as if it has been put into a bottle and cannot escape. People normally use this phrase referring to bottling up emotions, and according to a number of sayings losing one's bottle can also mean losing your courage to undertake something.
A Calling Hand The hand in this drawing is seemingly calling for help. Normally when we are facing difficult times or situations, and it seems difficult or impossible for to appreciate or enjoy life, we seek for help.
A Sandy Ground The sandy ground in this drawing depicts the state of the bottle in which the person is stuck as lost in a far place. As the wind blows, maybe someday the bottle will be completely covered and never to be found.
A Liquid Substance in this drawing, I included the liquid substance to create a a situation where this person is sinking and calling for help. However, being stuck in a liquid substance can bring up a number of thoughts, to the viewer, maybe the person was a drinking addict and many more...

PROJECT 04 / About Me
ABOUT
me
| 31
My name is Shalom Mageza and if I could describe myself with two words I'd say I'm a student and an artist. I like to say I'm a student because I find it easy to learn new things, and this makes me an natural outgoing person. I also understand that if you look closely, within every circumstance or situation, there's always a lesson to learn, and this enables me to value every moment and life in general. I am an artist because, to some extent, everyone is an artist. Personally, I believe that when I was born, my life was like an empty canvas, and until now it is up to me to make a beautiful and meaningful painting out of it, which can impact others around me, either by being educating, exemplary or just helpful in any way. Growing up with this mindset and the ability to try out new things, I was enabled to explore my artistic creativity. I draw and paint, I play the piano, I sing and dance, I've played basketball in the National League on a professional level and a few more other things. To many people, I'm considered a multitalented person, but I believe its simply because I'm naturally a good student. This "About Me" page is simply an art and a mashup of items that I put together, of the different things that I like to do, including basketball, music, art, and more. Basically a connection between who I am, what I do, and who I want to become.
