We are here to help you bring your ideas to life, and we look forward to a successful collaboration!
Preparing for recording a TV show can be a complex process, but with proper
We will schedule a TV prep call with our team and yours to introduce you to our program. During this call, we will introduce you to members of our studio team, gather the necessary details for the creative items that will appear during your show, let you know what to expect, and answer any questions you have.
Your marketing team will introduce you to our Broadcasting Development team, who will connect with you before your recording to ensure you feel confident with your content, show structure, address your questions, etc. During your time in the studio, you will record 6 episodes. Each episode consists of three 8-minute segments. At the end of each segment, there is a call-to-action. The team will also cover the custom content that you will record in our various studios. We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible!
When you’re not busy being a TV star, we will have you in our other studios recording custom content as mentioned in Step 1. The Broadcasting Development team will work with you in developing content for various areas – workshops videos, appointments videos, social media/YouTube content, spotlight interview, etc. They will provide examples of content for you to browse through to help you decide which ones you would like to customize for your practice and process. Don’t need to reinvent the wheel!
Don’t be afraid to rehearse in front of your family, mirror or Zoom. It may feel silly, but it will help you build your confidence… trust us! We will work with you and make sure you feel comfortable and confident. It might sound cliché, but practice makes perfect.
We advise that you bring a few different outfit choices. It’s not necessary to have a new outfit for each episode. Consider packing core pieces to easily change on set or quickly in the dressing room to update your look slightly. When choosing what to wear, avoid high-contrast or bright colors. Lean towards natural colors like grays, cool blues, navy, pastels, and other natural tones. Also, avoid small patterns, such as tight pinstripes and herringbone, as they may cause unwanted camera distortion. We have dressing rooms to store your outfits so you can change as needed. Before your time on set, our makeup artist will spend about 15 minutes with you to warm up your tone and help avoid any shine. Our Production Team will be able to answer any questions you have regarding your look on set.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your recordings go smoothly!
Our Studio Production Coordinator will send an email containing your on-screen show assets. Please expect this to arrive in your inbox approximately two weeks before your recording dates. These are the items that will appear on the screen during each episode. We ask that you and your team proofread the book. Please reply to the email with your approval or any necessary changes or updates. We like to be proactive with our on-screen assets, as last-second changes can slow the production schedule.
We ask that you provide your flight itinerary to PHX airport once booked. We will arrange your ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel accommodation. Prior to your trip, you will be provided with a detailed itinerary via our travel app, Travfy. Your itinerary will come from email address - invite@tripplans.co. Please check your spam/junk folders the week before your recording. If you do not see that you have received one, please reach out to your marketing team.
Our Studio Production Coordinator will provide you with a link to your episodes to review and provide to your compliance department (if applicable). Your custom content will be housed in a portal that requires credentials. Once this is ready for you to access, we will provide you with the necessary details.
