MWRI in Erie RFI Clinical Research CORE Overview of Project and Requisite Research Support Services MWRI in Erie is an outpatient facility that is staffed and equipped to support clinical and translational research. The facility has both a Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) and a Specimen Procurement Unit (OSPU). The MWHamot CTRC includes 2 multipurpose interview/telemedicine/consult spaces. Exam rooms and phlebotomy spaces are available in the clinic office. Specimen processing and storage are available in the OSPU. The units are staffed by a research operations coordinator and research assistants who support screening, enrollment and follow-up of consented subjects. Additional resources will be driven by the expressed needs of the investigators working in the CTRC.
