CCN 19B STUDY THE CENTER FOR FAMILY PLANNING RESEARCH IS CONDUCTING A RESEARCH STUDY OF AN INVESTIGATIONAL VAGINAL RING
This investigational vaginal ring contains 2 main ingredients Levonorgestrel: a contraceptive hormone used in many different types of birth control

Investigators are working to eventually develop a ring that can prevent both pregnancy and HIV
Dapivirine: a drug being studied to prevent HIV
This study will involve 14 visits to MageeWomens Hospital and up to 4 follow up phone calls over the course of ~6 months
This study will collect information about how these two drugs enter and exit the body This study does not investigate the ring's ability to prevent pregnancy and HIV
You may be eligible if you: are 18-45 years old are using a non-hormonal form of birth control or otherwise not at risk for pregnancy have regular menstrual cycles
You will be compensated up to $875 for completing all study procedures
