1. Extension Installation Guide • Go to My downloadable products. The file that you download normally is a zip or tgz file. • It’s required to disable cache in the administration panel of your site. Go to System/Cache Management. Choose all caches and take action “Disable” then submit. Also disable the Compilation if it is ON. So, make sure that Caching and Compilation is disabled before installing the extension, you can enable it again after the installation. • Use FTP client (such as Filezilla, WinSCP, cuteFtp) to upload or copy all folders in the zip package to your Magneto site root folder. This will not overwrite any existing files, just add new files to the folder structure. • You will need to install the extension in your custom theme if you are using. Just make sure about these files to be uploaded in custom theme. • app/design/frontend/default/default to app/design/frontend/YourThemeFolder/PackageFolder • skin/design/frontend/default/default to skin/design/frontend/YourThemeFolder/PackageFolder • After uploading is done, enable the Cache and if you keep Compilation On then re-run the Compilation. • Navigate to System/Configuration, if you can see the extension tab, it is installed properly. • Now if you get Access denied error when click on the extension tab, you need to log out admin panel and log in again. • Go to front-end and try to process, make sure that everything is OK.

2. Configuration Once you have successfully installed the extension, go to System Configuration to configure the extension for use. Here you can find various settings for the extension. • Spin and Win: Option to enable or disable Spin and Win extension.
3. Offer Icon Settings Extension comes with an icon on all pages to highlight spin and win offer in your Magento store. To set options regarding offer icon, you can enable settings here. • Offer Text: Add offer text to show besides offer icon in all the pages. • Text Font Color: select text font color. • Background Color: Set background color of the text. • Upload Icon Image: Upload offer icon image.
4. Spin and Win Banner Settings Extension is having a separate page with banner and spin and win popup. These settings will prepare a banner. • Banner Wheel Image: Upload wheel image for banner. • Banner Background Color: Set background color for banner. • Banner Heading Text: Add banner heading text. • Heading Text Color: Set heading text font color. • Banner Description: Add description text for banner. • Description Text Color: Set description text font color. • Button Text: Add banner button text.

5. Spin and Win Popup Settings Extension is having a separate page with banner and spin and win popup. These settings will prepare a banner. • Background Image: Upload popup background image. • Background Image Position: Set position for background image. This is useful when image is smaller, you can set it to repeat to cover the area. • Form Background Color: Select background color for popup form. • Title: Add form title. • Title Color: Set title font color. • Description: Add offer description. • Description Color: Set font color to display description. • Button Text: Add button text to allow click for spin and win play. • Button Color: Set font color for button text. • Button Background Color: Set background color for button.

6. Spin and Win Wheel Settings The spin and wheel of this extension is made up with 8 separate elements. Here you can set all of them to make a complete wheel. • Element 1 Text: Add text for the 1st element of the wheel. • Text Color: Set color for text of the 1st element. • Element 1 Background Color: Set background color for the 1 st wheel element. • Success Message 1: Add success message to display when a user wins the reward set under this element. Just the same way, you need to configure all the 8 elements to complete wheel with rewards and winnings.

7. Email Settings Set Email settings to enable Emails to users who play the spin and win game. The admin can choose to send Emails having custom text with rewards, coupon codes, use of offer or any other required text. • Coupon Code Emails: Enable to send Emails to spin and win users. • Email Sender: Select Email sender. • Email Template: Select Email template to send to users. • Element 1 Email Text: Add Email text for the winners of reward under Element 1 of the wheel. Just the same way, you can add Email texts for all the 8 elements of the wheel.

8. Spin and Win in Frontend Once you are all set with configuration of the spin and wheel game, users can see the offer icon enabled in all the pages of website. This helps catching attention of the visitors about the game and encourage them to play and win. On click of offer icon, users get redirected to spin and win offer page.

Once the users are redirected to offer page, they can see banner with heading and description text. On click of button, it opens a popup with form to proceed play.
On click of button of the banner, spin and win popup gets displayed. To play spin and win game, users need to fill up the form and click the button.

Play now button click will spin the wheel to try luck and stop on an element. The respective reward on the element will be provided to users as winnings. The success message of winning will be shown once the wheel is stopped on a particular element.

9. Emails to Users If Emails are enabled from backend, users will get related Email with the winning text on the added Email ID.
10. Deactivation of Extension in Case of Emergency • Manually delete all the files and content from following folders in your Magento root: ✓ var/cache/* ✓ var/session/* • Make sure you’ve uploaded all files from the downloaded package. • Go to app/etc/modules/Magecomp_Spinandwin.xml and replace <active>true</active> with <active>false</active> • Then repeat Step 1 and if something goes wrong, please contact us at https://www.magecomp.com/helpdesk or send us an email at helpdesk@magecomp.com 11. FAQs • What if I get “Access denied” error after installation of the extension? Whenever you get Access denied error while clicking on the extension tab after installation, log out admin panel and re-login.
