1. Extension Installation Guide Go to My downloadable products. The file that you download normally is a zip or tgz file. It’s required to disable cache in the administration panel of your site. Go to System/Cache Management. Choose all caches and take action “Disable” then submit. Also disable the Compilation if it is ON. So make sure that Caching and Compilation is disabled before installing the extension, you can enable it again after the installation. Use FTP client (such as Filezilla, WinSCP, cuteFtp) to upload or copy all folders in the zip package to your Magneto site root folder. This will not overwrite any existing files, just add new files to the folder structure. You will need to install the extension in your custom theme if you are using. Just make sure about this files to be uploaded in custom theme. app/design/frontend/default/default to app/design/frontend/YourThemeFolder/PackageFolder skin/design/frontend/default/default to skin/design/frontend/YourThemeFolder/PackageFolder After uploading is done, enable the Cache and if you keep Compilation On then re-run the Compilation. Navigate to System/Configuration, if you can see the extension tab, it is installed properly. Now if you get Access denied error when click on the extension tab, you need to log out admin panel and log in again. Go to front-end and try to process, make sure that everything is OK.

2. General Settings Once you have successfully installed the extension, go to System Configuration to configure the extension for use. Here you can find various settings for the extension.

Show on Login Page: Option to enable social login buttons on login page. Window Width: Set width for social login block. Window Height: Set height for social login block. Show on Checkout Page: Set yes to show social login block on checkout page. Social Block Title: Set a title for social login block.

3. Facebook Settings These are the settings to be enabled in order to allow Facebook login to customers. First of all, create a developer account with Facebook to get application ID and secret for use of social login. Facebook Enabled: Set yes to enable Facebook login. Facebook Application ID: Enter application ID provided by Facebook while registration. Facebook Application Secret: Enter application secret provided by Facebook while registration.
4. Google Settings These are the settings to be enabled in order to allow Google login to customers. First of all, create a developer account with Google to get app key and secret for use of social login. Google Enabled: Set yes to enable Google login. Google Client ID: Enter client ID provided by Google while registration. Google Client Secret: Enter client secret provided by Google while registration.
5. Twitter Settings These are the settings to be enabled in order to allow Twitter login to customers. First of all, create a developer account with Twitter to get app key and secret for use of social login. Twitter Enabled: Set yes to enable Twitter login. Twitter Consumer Key: Enter consumer key provided by Twitter while registration. Twitter Consumer Secret: Enter consumer secret provided by Twitter while registration.

6. LinkedIn Settings These are the settings to be enabled in order to allow LinkedIn login to customers. First of all, create a developer account with LinkedIn to get app key and secret for use of social login. LinkedIn Enabled: Set yes to enable LinkedIn login. LinkedIn API Key: Enter API key provided by LinkedIn while registration. LinkedIn Secret Key: Enter consumer secret key provided by LinkedIn while registration.
7. Yahoo Settings These are the settings to be enabled in order to allow Yahoo login to customers. First of all, create a developer account with Yahoo to get app key and secret for use of social login. Yahoo Enabled: Set yes to enable Yahoo login. Yahoo Consumer Key: Enter consumer key provided by Yahoo while registration. Yahoo Consumer Secret: Enter consumer secret key provided by Yahoo while registration.

8. Social Login on Frontend Once you save the configurations and settings for various social accounts, you can see Social Login enabled. Users can utilize social login from login page or checkout page.

Once a user login with any of the enabled social account, he can see success message for successful login with the Magento store.
9. Social Login Customer in Backend Once a customer is logged in through any social account, whenever you go to Customers Manage Customers in backend, you can see the customer with social account login data.
10. Deactivation of Extension in Case of Emergency Manually delete all the files and content from following folders in your Magento root: var/cache/* var/session/* Make sure you’ve uploaded all files from the downloaded package. Go to app/etc/modules/Magecomp_SocialLogin.xml and replace <active>true</active> with <active>false</active> Then repeat Step 1 and if something goes wrong, please contact us at https://www.magecomp.com/helpdesk or send us an email at helpdesk@magecomp.com

11. FAQs What if I get “Access denied” error after installation of the extension? Whenever you get Access denied error while clicking on the extension tab after installation, log out admin panel and re-login.
