SWERVE IS A NEW LITERARY AND ARTS JOURNAL FUNDED BY THE ARTS COUNCIL IRELAND AND CORK COUNTY ARTS.
The SWERVE project comprises a biannual journal (summer and winter), an artist/writer-in-residence programme, regular readings at our dedicated performance space The Lit Lounge and a pop-up Project Space for visual art.
SWERVE supports young and emerging writers and artists from Ireland and internationally via an annual submissions call-out. We also invite more established contributors. We publish poetry, prose (fiction and non-fiction) and arrange writer/artist collaborations.
