SATURDAY, JULY 1 WATSON, Jonny & Glenys; Katie, Alana, Danielle, and Lucy. Pilot, PNG. Give thanks for the good time of meeting with friends, family, and supporters while we’ve been in NZ these past two months. Pray that we might be fully refreshed to return to PNG at the end of this month.

MAF INTERNATIONAL Please continue to pray for Ryan and Annabel Koher, as well as Willem and Eric, the orphanage volunteers who were detained with Ryan, as they wait for the legal proceedings to conclude in Mozambique.

MAF INTERNATIONAL Pray for peace in Sudan.

Pray for the surrounding communities that are receiving those fleeing the conflict. Pray also for the continued safety for our MAF staff members in South Sudan.

MONDAY, JULY 3 MAF NEW ZEALAND Pray for us as a resourcing group as we seek to spread awareness of MAF around New Zealand. Pray that we will be able to increase our capacity and donations so that the planes can keep flying around the world.

Please pray that I would pick up the language easily and that there would be plenty of opportunities for me to practise my Tok Pisin with locals! Please also pray for good health as my stomach adjusts to a new diet!

Praise God for a special time in May that we had with Dave Fyock (MAF International CEO) visiting our programme for the first time. Please pray for wisdom and stamina for Ruth and her colleague, Estela, and as they work with medevac patients and families in the local hospital and upon their often-premature discharge.

MAF INTERNATIONAL Pray for one of MAF Singapore’s volunteers as they seek support to become a MAF pilot. Pray that they will follow the LORD’s leading whatever that may look like.

Please pray for ongoing good health as we head into a particularly busy month for Jono and Andy MacDonald as four of the pilot team and their families head away for home assignment.

INGHAM, Bridget. Pilot, PNG. Starting from today I am taking a three-week holiday in Darwin with my best friend.

We first planned the trip in 2019 for July 2020, but had to postpone it for obvious reasons. Pray for smooth travel, safety, good rest, and mental, emotional, and spiritual refreshment.

Please pray that the KendonStrong Centre will be used in the best ways possible and to its fullest extent. Praise God that our small team is growing.

Praise God that we recently enjoyed a family weekend get together. Please pray that our daughter, Deborah will be able to find some suitable long-term accommodation closer to where she works.

FRIDAY, JULY 28 MAF INTERNATIONAL Praise God that Kenya now has two full-time pilots. Pray that they will be able to keep up with demand, and not become too overwhelmed.

Praise God that there are now two people to share the load!

Please pray for the ex-MAF Bangladesh staff as they seek new employment opportunities. It is not easy with the current labour market in the country.

Also continue to hold up in prayer our existing staff tying up loose ends to close the programme and for the release of funds from the Bank. Give thanks that spare aircraft parts are finally on their way to Mareeba.

MAF NEW ZEALAND. Praise God for the people who have shown interest and are working towards MAF employment. Pray for wisdom for both us and the recruits to find out if they are suitable for MAF and if that is where the Lord wants them.

MAF INTERNATIONAL Pray for the villages that that we fly to in Tanzania with medical and evangelistic teams. Pray that they would be diligent in preparing and keeping the airstrips clear during operations so that help, hope, healing, and the Gospel can continue to come into their villages.

Pilot, PNG. All going to plan, this month my flying training continues. I will be spending time with maintenance, ground operations and flight scheduling/operations to learn how each sector works.

Please praise God for the thorough training that MAF provides and pray that I would be able to absorb as much information as possible.

MAF NEW ZEALAND The Board for MAF New Zealand are having a meeting today. Please pray that this will be a fruitful time of discussion, problem solving, and brainstorming for future growth. Pray for wisdom for each of the members as they make important governance decisions.

WEDNESDAY, AUG 9 MAF INTERNATIONAL As MAF Technologies ministry is expanding in PNG, pray for a new property to become available in Goroka for the team to purchase so that they can continue to grow their operations and impact.

SATURDAY, AUG 12 INGHAM, Bridget. Pilot, PNG. Many of our pilots are coming back from home assignment and need refresher training to be fit to fly again. Pray for safety as they get back into the routine. Pray also for the Kundig, Muilwijk, Knigge, Symmonds and Rominger families who are all moving to new bases within PNG.

Thank God for the provision of our temporary six-month visas after days spent waiting in the Immigration Dept.

Please pray for a better longer-term solution. These visas are only good for six months, and we would like at least annual visas or better still, two-yearly visas, given that we have to start the process every six months.

Praise God for a successful disaster response training conference in May. This was the first training conference for the team in four years due to covid.
