REDD+ Mobile Exhibit

REDD+ Mobile Exhibit :: Philippine Forests: Before and What Now October 2011 - June 2012

Since REDD-Plus is on its early stage in the Philippines, the exhibit offered a compelling visual presentation about REDD-Plus and its on-going implementation in the Philippines.

The exhibit captured actions of local communities in forest conservation and protection in Leyte Island, done through a competition among renowed photo-journalists. It depicts how the country is beginning to adjust national forest policies to the necessities of climate protection and to test approaches for REDD-Plus.

The forest exhibit roadshow started in three national climate change events in Manila then toured in several municipalities in Leyte and Southern Leyte provinces.
