In 2011, the MAF-US fleet executed 33,047 flights, logged more than 2.7 million miles, transported 98,610 passengers, and delivered some 8.2 million pounds of cargoon 1,700 remote airstrips and waterways. More importantly …

MAF-US saved 60,403 days of travel timeor 250 work yearsover 12 months.

Redeemed for productive Kingdom work, these 60,403 days exceed the equivalent of 83 three-year terms of missionary service!

Additionally, MAF-Learning Technologies (MAF-LT) alone supported more than 40 ministry organizations. Thousands of pastors and church leaders were impacted through MAF-LT learning centers, consulting services, workshops, study materials, and digital resources.

Every Day …

MAF-US deploys a full range of aviation, communications, and learning technology services to maximize ministry throughout Asia, Africa, Eurasia, and Latin America.  Every eight minutes, in some of the most remote places on earth, an MAF aircraft either

takes off or lands.  More than 22,000 pounds of precious mission cargo is delivered daily to build God’s Kingdom.

A single MAF flight can haul one-half ton of supplies, more than a team of pack animals.  Each day, some 270 passengers are transported, including evangelists, teachers, medical

personnel, indigenous pastors, church planters, community development workers, relief personnel, children, and those who are critically ill and in need of emergency medical assistance.  Every flight hour saves three days of travel by foot or slow, arduous ground transportation

… greatly maximizing the ministry of missionaries and indigenous evangelists.  An MAF airplane is often the only safe and reliable means of transportation for ministry

activities, reducing an all-day trek by foot to a mere 20-minute flight.
