CALENDAR YEAR 2014 BUDGET MAF is a proven mission organization with indispensable services that multiply ministry efforts costeffectively. The impact of MAF on lives, churches, and communities is significant and measurable. Each year MAF aviation alone redirects more than 53,186 workdays, or 220 work years, of unproductive travel time into fruitful ministry. More than 1,000 isolated pastors and church leaders depend on MAF technology for training and biblical resources. MAF tools are some of the costliest: airplanes, aviation fuel, satellite and mobile technology, computers, and HF/VHF radio networks. In 2014, $46.5 million is needed to operate ongoing programs, launch new initiatives, and expand services. Total funding from support raised by MAF missionary staff, field revenue,1 and planned gifts through the MAF Foundation amounts to $37.3 million, or 80.2 percent of total ministry costs. MAF seeks the remaining 19.8 percentor $9.2 millionfrom caring partners: individuals, churches, and foundations.
