2019 MAF Worldwide Operations Mission Aviation Fellowship-US is based in Nampa, Idaho, and is part of the global family of MAF organizations that includes MAF International, MAF Canada, and affiliates in Guatemala, Brazil, Suriname, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.

2019 Ministry Highlights 18,532 flights supported the work of missionaries, evangelists, doctors, relief workers, Bible translators, and teachers in remote areas.

Served 544 organizations and transported 55,100 passengers.

5.6 million pounds of cargo delivered.

293 volunteers gave 19,147 hours of service to MAF, valued at $451,103

•

When Cyclones Idai and Kenneth caused death and destruction in Mozambique, MAF responded, logging 184 flights that brought 46,258 kg of critical aid to people in need and carried 691 relief workers.

•

MAF staff showed the “JESUS” film 166 times, including 66 times in an IDP (internally displaced people) camp in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

•

Took off and landed at 500 different airstrips.

3,475 MAF medical flights enabled health and healing.

•

MAF flew 616,055 miles in support of church and mission work. That represents 8,642 flights carrying Bibles, missionaries, Bible translators, and other kingdom workers to remote, difficult to access areas.In Kalimantan and Papua, Indonesia, MAF conducted medical evacuation flights for 536 people in need of emergency care.

200+ villagers in Lesotho professed faith in Jesus Christ due to the ministry of the Lesotho Flying Pastors, a group supported by MAF.

MAF enabled 55 Bible translation projects throughout the world.

MAF’s Haiti program served 177 different organizations in 2019, many of them church work and mission teams.

Mission Aviation Fellowship operates one of the most cost-effective ministries in the mission world, yet one of the most expensive. The tools we use are some of the costliest: airplanes and related infrastructure, satellite technology, computers, and HF/VHF radio networks. Because of this, many assets are represented on the financial statement. When comparing MAFâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s asset position to that of other mission organizations, the capital-intensive nature of the aviation services MAF provides must be considered.

MAF receives its income primarily from contributions (78 percent) and fees for services (21 percent).

Essentially all revenue for services is generated outside the United States, primarily in Africa and Asia.

Mission Aviation Fellowship is a not-for-profit organization exempt from federal income taxes and under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
