It is with great pleasure that I congratulate and express my heartfelt wishes to the people of China on this momentous occasion of the Communist Party of China’s centenary celebrations. Since establishment, the Communist Party of China has been having an illustrious journey of one hundred milestone years. The story of the Communist Party of China in fact is the history of modern China itself and its people. Trust, hope and strength generated and given by the Communist Party of China to the people of China during the past century is tremendous and to date remains the key pillar of success of citizens of China. It is the robust organization that continues to inculcate many virtues that are well moulded in Eastern wisdom and Buddhist principles such as social cohesion, respect for fellow humans and commitment to a common cause among the populace of China. Being countries that share similar views on many aspects, story of the Communist Party of China is a very good example for us Sri Lankans, specially in matters such as national and social integration and sustained development. There is no other example of a political leadership which rallies the people and leads them to defeat foreign invasion, and domestic imperialist aggressors while achieving a democratic revolution, and establishing a People’s Republic than the Communist Party of China. It is exemplary to the world for putting an end to the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, for transforming itself from a millennia-old feudal autocracy to a people's democracy.The CPC contribution saw the broadest and m§t profound social transformation in the history of China. During the last 100 years, the CPC leadership elevated China from a poorest country to the m§t vibrant economy in the world; from being a manufacturing giant to an innovative nation that sends rockets to Mars. Most importantly, the CPC led China to alleviate millions of people out of poverty. According to the archaeological facts, Recorded history of Chinese music goes back beyond 10000 years. Over the millennial Chinese music have evolved in many ways from tribal folk music to the Chinese operatic music and revolutionary patriotic songs to the modern pop and hip hop music culture. After the great cultural revolution of China all traditional cultural values of PRC including music has properly organized and regulated in order to preserve China’s rich culture for future world. As a result of that the world enjoys melodious traditional Chinese music until today and forever. In the 1920s, socialist youth leagues were established in key cities for students and young workers to study Marxism and organize revolutionary activities. These were later combined to form what is now known as the Communist Youth League of China. The All-China Youth Federation is a people's organization founded on May 4, 1949 that represents many youth groups in China, including the Communist Youth League of China. “If the youth are pr§perous, the country is pr§perous. If the youth are strong, the country is strong” once General Secretary of Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinpingsaid adding that the country’s development had always depended on young people. Last Year he said in a letter that the federation was an important part of the party’s youth work. Its purp§e, he wrote, included “organising and mobilizing a large number of young people and students to follow the party”.
