Letter from Mayor Paul Finley Welcome to another outstanding Madison event! As mayor of Madison and on behalf of our Madison City Council, we are very proud to welcome you to our 38th Annual Madison Street Festival in historic downtown Madison. Our street festival has grown tremendously over the past 37 years, bringing another fun and exciting event to our growing and revitalized historic downtown. Each year thousands of guests have a wonderful time enjoying the arts and crafts, artist exhibits, car show, music, information booths, rides, petting zoo, exhibits for the kids and plenty of food. We hope you and your family enjoy the Madison Street Festival this year. Special thanks to our events director Kyle Mumaw and the many amazing volunteers we have in the city of Madison for their dedication to making this a great event for our residents. Sincerely, Paul Finley Mayor

Letter from Madison Street Festival President Welcome to the 38th annual Madison Street Festival. As the President of the Madison Street Festival and on behalf of our 2018 Committee, I would to take this opportunity to welcome you to this wonderful event and I hope you and your family enjoy everything that the 2018 MSF has to offer. Our committee of volunteers has worked diligently over the last year to put together this free community event. This day would not be possible without the 2018 MSF Sponsors and their generosity. I would also like to thank the City of Madison for their unwavering support as well as Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Police, Fire and HEMSI for their hard work and dedication to this event. As the Madison Street Festival has continued to grow, so has our attendance, with over 35,000 people attending last years event. Since our attendance has continued to expand, so has our offering to the public. This year we have added an ALL NEW teen zone to make sure there is fun for all ages. As always there will be live music on both the Main Street Stage and Church Street Stage as well as demonstrations taking place at the Community Showcase. Please take a look at one of the many maps posted around the event and within the program to make sure you don’t miss a minute of the fun. I hope you will take the time to explore everything this years MSF has to offer and we look forward to seeing you again on October 5th, 2019! Kyle Mumaw President, 2018 Madison Street Festival

10th Annual Madison Street Festival Car Show

T

he 2018 Madison Street Festival marks the 10th year that Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners car club has hosted the downtown festival car show! Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners are proud to host and support the Madison Street Festival in this event, which features show quality cars, trucks and motorcycles from the surrounding area.

Trophies are awarded around the «hometown» theme, with a Mayor’s Choice, Police Chief’s Choice, Fire Chief’s Choice, Festival Committee Choice, and Kid’s Pick. The Car Show raises monies for local charities such as Heroes Week, Survivors Outreach Services, the local Floyd Fann Veterans Home, Veteran’s Museum, and other local charities. The Car Show is free for spectators and $20 to show your special ride, and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the new Madison city parking lot at the corner of Martin and Garner Streets. Participants need to enter from Lanier Road. We have had over 100 cars participating in this worthwhile event and we look forward to another successful festival car show!
