We asked and you answered! Starting way back in June we asked our readers who they thought the best businesses in South Central Wisconsin are. You did not disappoint. Over 700 businesses and people were nominated across 136 categories.

The goal of South Central Wisconsin’s Best of the Best is to give local businesses a platform to promote themselves and to start a discussion amongst our readers of what their favorite businesses are in each category. Our hope is that readers discovered some new local businesses they’d like to try. In that sense, I think every business that was nominated is a winner.

In the end, 3,076 people cast 95,257 votes to decide the best business in each category.

What are you most proud of? I’m most proud of the following we’ve built of our Clinic Gear Swag. We even offer sales online. It’s to the point where it can be seen being worn all across the country.

What does it mean to be voted South Central Wisconsin’s Best Of? It means that our customers appreciate what we do. We try to offer value whether it be free music on the weekends - open jukebox to a band. On Thursday we offer half price domestic beer and rail drinks during happy hour. It’s a nice little kick to start out the weekend. There’s always something fun going on at the Clinic!

What is your secret to good customer service?

I treat everyone as if they’re a friend when they walk in the door and by the time they leave, they usually are. My customers have shown they’re loyalty over and over and I truly appreciate it. I try to show my appreciation with my annual Easter Keester Hunt and my Annual Customer Appreciation Pig Roast every year as well.

We specialize in a variety of services to diagnose and treat illness and injury –from X-ray and MRI to 3D mammography and interventional radiology. We have a newly-renovated imaging suite. It features advanced nuclear medicine/CT equipment that can diagnose time-sensitive cardiac issues, and many other health concerns. This allows us to provide patients with answers, without them needing to travel far from home or wait a long time for an appointment.

We partner with the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology to provide these services.

Images are produced by state-of-the-art equipment, and are stored digitally. What makes you stand out from the competition?

Friendly, one on one personal attention. My guests are not just customers, they are part of my family, they know my story and I know theirs. When they enter the boutique it is a little piece of respite in their lives, not like walking into a big box store where you are unkown.

Also Keeping the product choices fresh and updated. Sending a message to a customer when something new comes in that I feel would be perfect for them. Listening to my customers and getting their input for future seasons.

What are you most proud of? I am proud of the support from the surrounding communities with guests traveling from as far Rockford just to shop the boutique. I am so very proud when a customer comes in looking for a special occasion outfit and then comes back after the event just to tell me how they got so many compliments even from strangers on their outfit.

What does it mean to be voted South Central Wisconsin’s Best Of? To be voted the South Central Wisconsin Best Boutique is such an honor and my heart bursts with pride and appreciation for all the support. It takes so much to survive in a small one woman owned business and I would not be able to do it without everyone who supports me and does everything they can to help me succeed.

What is your secret to good customer service?

Treating each and every guest in the boutique as a family member. Listening to them and thier needs. Sometimes they come in not to shop but just to browse and forget about whatever is going on in thier lives and just being there for them. If I dont have what they are looking for at that time I will keep it mind for future product to bring in for them.
