Jackson Clinic, a historical tavern outside of Mauston, has been in business since 1954. It’s a place where everyone gets along and customers come in as neighbors and leave as friends. The backroom of Jackson Clinic, which now houses the dance floor, jukebox, pool table & dartboards, was originally a one room school house. What makes you stand out from the competition? We believe that you’re not a stranger, just a neighbor we haven’t met yet. What are you most proud of? I’m proud to say that over the years my customer are still happy with our Happy Hour. WINN
Accounting and tax firm that specializes in bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, business consulting, and strategic advising for personal and business financials. What makes you stand out from the competition? We like to think that the vibe that we have created in and out of our office is different than you’ll find in the industry. We are laid back, down to earth, approachable, and professional-ish... Just without the stuffy offices and suits. We are real people, and you can come to us as you are - no false pretenses. No B/S. What are you most proud of? We are incredibly proud of the work that we do. We are thorough, we are detailed, and we notice the little things. We care deeply about the completeness and accuracy of the work that we do for our clients, and our clients notice this about us! What does it mean to be voted South Central Wisconsin’s Best of the Best? We honestly weren’t even aware that the nominations were going on until one of our amazing clients notified us that they nominated us! What an incredible honor and testament to our brand to be voted Best Accounting Firm without any ad spend, marketing materials, or email/text campaign. A handful of posts on our social media and the constant support of our friends, family, and clients. We truly are humbled! What is your secret to good customer service? Communication, transparency, and no surprises. Our clients are in the know with what’s going on with their work at any given point in time, and our attention to detail and thoroughness leads to higher quality results for our clients. We truly care and take this work seriously because we understand just how impactful it is to our clients’ businesses and their personal lives.
