Mandell L. Crawley is Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer of Morgan Stanley and a member of the firm’s Operating and Management Committees. He is responsible for the Integrated Firm Management division, aiming to deliver Morgan Stanley consistently and systematically to clients globally, bringing the power of the full Firm. Integrated Firm Management consists of the Global Client Coverage Group, Firm Strategy and Execution, Firmwide Marketing, and Global Centers.
Most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Mr. Crawley drove the organization’s human capital and location strategy to attract, develop, reward and retain a talented global, distributed workforce.
Prior to becoming CHRO, Mr. Crawley was the head of the firm’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) business, a division that exclusively focuses on ultra-high net worth individuals, families and their foundations. In that role, Mr. Crawley oversaw International Wealth Management, Family Office Resources, Global Sports and Entertainment, and Institutional Client Coverage.
Mr. Crawley has also held roles as the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Head of National Business Development, and Head of U.S. Fixed Income Sales and Distribution for Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Group.
Mr. Crawley received an MBA with honors from Fordham University and a BA in economics from Northeastern Illinois University. He is on the Board of Governors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Fordham University Board of Trustees and the Greenwich Academy Board of Trustees.
Mandell resides in Westchester County, New York, with his wife, Alison and twin daughters, Jordyn and Jaedyn and is a proud native of Chicago, Illinois.

Trained as an attorney, Carol Sutton Lewis has spent over 25 years focusing on parenting, child development and education with a particular focus on raising Black and Brown children. Over the years she has been engaging parents and thought leaders in conversations on parenting issues across the country through her Ground Control Parenting blog and her award-winning podcast, Ground Control Parenting with Carol Sutton Lewis . Carol is also the co-host of Lost Women of Science, an awardwinning podcast sponsored by PRX and Scientific American, that tells the forgotten stories of female scientists who made groundbreaking achievements in their fields.
Carol is the Vice Chair of the Studio Museum in Harlem and the co-chair of the museum’s capital campaign funding the construction of their new home in New York City. She serves on the boards of Stanford Law School and the American University of Paris. She is an advisory board member of Jackalo, Inc., a circular and sustainable children’s clothing company. She is also on the board of the Central Park Conservancy.
Carol has previously served on the boards of the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences and the Collegiate School for Boys in New York City. A native New Yorker, she is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford Law School. She and her husband, William M. Lewis, Jr., have three children.

William M. Lewis, Jr. joined Apollo Global Management in 2021 as a Partner and member of the Management Committee. Mr. Lewis also co-chairs Apollo’s Partner Promotion Committee and its Expanding Opportunity Committee. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Lewis was a Managing Director and Chairman of Investment Banking at Lazard Ltd. which he joined in 2004. At Lazard, Mr. Lewis advised a number of global corporations including American Express, Amgen, Boeing, CBS, Hess, Macy’s, Maytag, Owens Corning, Procter & Gamble, Texas Instruments, Tyco, Whirlpool and Xerox. In addition, Mr. Lewis chaired the Firm’s Managing Director Promotion Committee.
Mr. Lewis was elected a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley in 1989, becoming the firm’s first African-American Managing Director. Between 1994 and 2004, Mr. Lewis was head or co-head of the Global Corporate Finance Department, the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Department and the Global Real Estate Department. His last position at Morgan Stanley was Co-Head of the Global Banking Department where he was responsible for the firm’s global industry practices and regions. In addition to his transaction, business development and management responsibilities at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Lewis was also chairman of the firm’s charitable foundation, chairman of its diversity task force, member of the firm’s Political Action Committee, and member or chairman of numerous other internal committees including recruiting, mentoring, promotion, evaluation and compensation.
Mr Lewis currently serves on the boards of a number of not-for-profit organizations including Uncommon Schools (Mr Lewis serves as chair), New Visions for Public Schools, New York Presbyterian Hospital, the New York City Police Foundation, the Posse Foundation, the Economic Club of New York, HBS Board of Dean’s Advisors, the National Bureau of Economic Research and Echoing Green. In the past, he has served as Co-Chairman of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Treasurer of the National Urban League, Chairman of A Better Chance and as a member of the boards of Phillips Academy, the American Museum of Natural History, the National Constitution Center, the Executive Committee of the USGA, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the New York Philharmonic, Morehouse College, the Central Park Conservancy, the NCAA Advisory Board, the Harvard Management Company (endowment), Harvard’s Committee on Alumni Affairs and Development, Harvard’s Task Force on Students and Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In addition to his not-for-profit activities, Mr. Lewis serves on the boards of ADT Inc., Lifepoint Health, Inc., Ariel Alternatives, LLC and formerly served on the boards of Freddie Mac, Darden Restaurants and Lazard Ltd.
Mr. Lewis was born in Richmond, VA. He attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA and received the Academy’s highest award, the Aurelian Honor Society Award. In addition, he played Varsity Football, Basketball and Lacrosse. Mr. Lewis graduated with honors in Economics from Harvard College where he also played Varsity Lacrosse. Mr. Lewis received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1982.
Mr. Lewis is married to Carol Sutton Lewis, an attorney and award-winning podcast producer and has four adult children.

Quentin Roach joined The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer in August 2023. In this role, Quentin oversees ELC’s strategic supplier relationships and enhances end-to-end synchronization across the company’s supplier network to help accelerate innovation, growth, and joint value creation.
Prior to joining Estee Lauder, he served as a catalyst for transformation, innovation and growth through senior level executive positions in Sale & Marketing, Business Development, Sourcing & Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, Global Real Estate, Manufacturing Operations, Workplace & Enterprise Services and Engineering in healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer goods/products, medical device, academia and automotive industries with General Motors Corporation, Delphi Corporation, Strong Health/The University of Rochester, Bausch & Lomb, Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck & Co., Inc. and Mondelez International. He currently serves on the board of directors for US Foods, Inc, Armada Supply Solutions, Baldwin Richardson Foods Company, and is Chairman of Board for the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc.
Quentin brings to ELC a proven dedication to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion and is focused on making a positive impact on communities and the world through strong corporate citizenship. Quentin holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University as well as a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management of Technology from Arizona State University.
