Welcome to the 58th Annual Christmas Tree Ball! I am grateful for your participation in tonight's event, which is Madison's premiere annual fundraiser. It means the world to us that you have taken the time to celebrate with us, learn more about Madison, and support so many New York City young people who dare to dream big.
We are thrilled to celebrate our 140th anniversary in 2024! This milestone underscores our unwavering commitment to helping generations of our city's youth pursue their passions. Our Clubhouses are more than just buildings – they are incubators of ambition where dreams take flight. Here, young individuals discover their interests through dance, sports, and academics, while developing the skills and confidence to turn their aspirations into achievements.
Tonight, you will witness firsthand how Madison empowers our members to dream beyond boundaries. Our youth and alumni will showcase not just their talents, but their boundless potential nurtured at the Club. Through their stories, you'll see how Madison has become a launching pad for dreams – whether it's pursuing higher education, launching a business, or making a difference in their communities.
Most importantly, we acknowledge that helping our youth achieve their dreams takes a village of dreamers and believers. Now, more than ever, we need advocates, donors, and champions like you who share our vision of unlimited possibility for every child. We extend our heartfelt thanks to this year ' s event co-chairs, Trevor Fennell and Kristina Hunt, and to the entire Event Committee for making this celebration of dreams possible. Gratitude also goes to our Board Members. And a special thank you to you your presence tonight helps us continue being a place where big dreams find their wings.
On behalf of everyone at Madison, I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you so much for support unlock their full potential.
