For most of the AV industry's history, assistive listening in corporate environments meant a hearing loop or IR — well-intentioned, usually well-installed, but often invisible to the IT team that runs the building. Auracast changes the architecture of the whole problem. Built on Bluetooth® LE Audio, Auracast™ is a broadcast standard — one transmitter, unlimited listeners, no pairing. Any Auracast-enabled hearing aid, earbud or dedicated receiver can join a stream the same way you join a Wi-Fi network: find it, select it, done. That's the baseline the standard delivers.

Feilding Civic Centre A multi-purpose civic venue — theatre, sports arena and community event spaces — upgraded its accessibility offering as part of a broader sound system refurbishment. MOVIX cinemas MOVIX — a national cinema chain run by Shochiku Multiplex Theaters — needed assistive audio that could cut through the dialogue, music, effects and deep bass of a live film mix, where legacy infrared struggled to deliver consistent clarity for hearing-aid and cochlear-implant users. Installed by Eyear System Co., Ltd., B-Caster transmitters now broadcast directly to guests' own hearing devices, earphones or headphones, with B-RTX receivers and neck loops covering listeners without compatible personal devices. It is the first permanent, real-world cinema deployment of Auracast™ broadcast audio in Japan — moving the technology from demo to
everyday operation, and enabling true free seating with no fixed accessible-seating zone.
