Where it all began...

In 2012, the Danish couple and founders of Made by Mama, Anna and Morten, seized the opportunity and replaced a hectic life with a peaceful hillside in beautiful Tuscany, Italy.

With a shared passion for gastronomy and several years of working with the development of their own olive oil and other delicacies, Made by Mama became a reality in 2018.

Anna and Morten have now returned home with the best from Italy in a Nordic simple design.

Our passion

Olive oil is truly our passion. That’s where it all started. It was love at first sight as we gazed on the hundreds of beautiful trees in the breathtaking olive groves. Trees that had stood on the Tuscan hillsides for many, many years.

Today, our organic extra virgin olive oil, which is just one of our oils, is in a class of its own. It is made from 100% organically grown olives from our olive groves in Tuscany.

All olives are harvested by hand and essed to oil the same day.

Our truffles come from the heart of Tuscany - the beautiful medieval town of San Miniato. Here Laura and Filippo, 4th generation, is of one of the most reputable families within the truffle business, where quality is paramount.

You will find the delicate taste of truffles in our white and black truffle creams, truffle mayonnaise, truffle butter and of course in our truffle oil.
