For the past 15 years, Hickory Chair has collaborated with Hable Construction to provide exclusive fabrics, indoor and outdoor furniture that were hand-drawn by Susan Hable. The fabrics were introduced in 2010 and are woven exclusively for Hickory Chair in a North Carolina mill located 30 miles away from its furniture workroom. The furniture collection launched in 2015 and is known for traditional roots with a modern aesthetic. The collection has a decidedly global point of view that sits as comfortably in a traditional setting as well as in a modern home or an informal city loft. In 2023, Hable Outdoor was introduced with iconic metal, woven and teak offerings allowing designers to create luxurious exteriors for their clients. Hable brings a fresh dimension to Hickory Chair with its mid-century modern and Scandinavian design, world history, travel, contemporary art, mixed materials and of course, exclusive textiles.
